As far as I understand, the cheapest rooms go just on the railway track - if you live like this, I think that a negative is possible. Despite its venerable age, there are booklets with a history at the reception - how it passed from hand to hand, completed construction, etc. , in very good condition.
There are no complaints about the kitchen. In general, the hotel has such a touch of gloss and secularity. We were in May - so we only rode Kaprun. Transfer to Kaprun about 20-30 min. In summer and without skis, the ski lifts on the Schmittenhö he are not far away. In winter, you might want to use transport. We left our skis upstairs in the depot, so we never went to the ski-room.
