The hotel is comfortable, quiet, clean. Free Wi-Fi, convenient breakfast time from 6-00 to 11-00. I recommend it for a budget, youthful, relaxing holiday. At the entrance to the reception, ask for a non-smoking room with a view of the courtyard. For dinner, lunch, consider the institution 9er brau (the hotel has ads at the reception) really delicious.

This hotel is what you need for a person who visited Vienna for the first time. The fact that it is located on Augasse 15 and far from the center is the main feature. Next to it is the Spittelau metro (You have to go up, then turn right and go towards the pipe of the incineration plant. ) At the metro station, buy a weekly ticket for 15 euros and ride until you are blue in the face all over Vienna by metro, tram, bus . One trip - 2.20 euros. I did 12 transplants a day. Savings is awesome. Tram "D" runs from the hotel to the center clearly along the opera ring. You don't have to worry about any transfers. The ideal route: the entire opera ring, the town hall, the parliament, the city park, the Vienna Opera, Schwarzenbergplatz, the Belvedere-terminal (from there it is better to start overlooking the castle). You don’t need to shove and activate the ticket anywhere, just keep it in your purse and present it at the control. A free-rider tourist is fined 71 euros, a resident of Vienna is fined 100 euros. From the metro station "Spittelau" you can get to the stop "Westbahnhof". While driving, you survey the whole of Vienna, the most awesome view on the left is just a tear off your head. From the Westbahnhof stop, go to the Maria Hilferstrasse shopping street and walk along it towards the opera ring. There are a lot of shops, eateries, cafes and restaurants - at least a dime a dozen, goods - heaps, service - above the ceiling, they do everything: tax free, discounts, fittings, no rudeness, they are welcomed everywhere. Tap water is poured free of charge everywhere, in any cafe, whatever it is. You can drink it fearlessly, it is the purest water in Europe. I whipped it myself right in the hotel room from the tap and no consequences. Everything in the hotel is fucked up. Breakfast - eat until you burst from 6 to 10 o'clock. In the lobby, use the computer until you get bored (ahtung! There is no Klava in German and English. There is no Russian. I wrote letters in German, and when my friends read it, they simply copied it to the clipboard and pasted it into the translator). At the reception, everyone is squealing in German and English, polite and tolerant, which is just kapets. Guides and guides in several languages of the world for free in such quantities as the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Elevator, stairs, fire exit, from the banquet hall there is access to the summer terrace, underground parking, no problems, everything is simple and tasteful, no one yells under the windows and in the ear, no one swears and bawls like a victim, no one squeals like crazy, the situation is completely different. The crowns are completely different, their whole land is saturated with music, peace and love, I felt it all the time I was in Vienna. The breakfast is delicious, varied, there is milk, coffee, tea, nuts, prunes, cheese, sausages, any bread, buns, butter, etc. One waitress, Nadezhda, is Russian, originally from Ukraine, she sputters in German and English. Helped me a lot with prices, wine and guidebooks. Who wants a budget and economical hotel, then I recommend "Alexander". It is possible that I will go to Vienna again, since 7 days were not enough for me to inspect everything there and drive to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Who has questions, then write to the soap. I will answer everyone. I speak fluent German. bedeut@mail. en

Hotel "Alexander", very neat, without any frills and bells and whistles. Since I was resting in Europe for the first time, I can’t determine exactly how many stars it pulls. I booked a single room, lived alone, but there were two beds. The room has normal furniture and a snow-white bed, the cat was changed 3 times in 9 days. The room was cleaned daily, there were no thefts, although I left my passport, fotik.
Nice people at the restaurant, they speak English and German.
The location is convenient, a direct metro line will bring you to the center, as well as the tram, which stops in front of the hotel. The windows of my room overlooked the courtyard, so that the tram did not bother me at all, but rather woke up to the singing of birds.
The only inconvenience is that there is no hair dryer : (
Yes, very close to a garbage plant, this is one of the attractions. But don't let that bother you, it doesn't affect the purest air of Vienna at all!!!
If I'm lucky to get to Vienna again, maybe I'll also stay in Alexander, he suited me completely!

Good European *3*. It is located very conveniently - there is a tram stop almost nearby (on route D you can get directly to the historical center) and a metro station, although this very station, as it turned out, has several exits to the surface and for the first days I climbed up at a distant station, and then another 5 minutes walk, although there is an exit 200 meters from the hotel. … More ▾ Good European *3*. The close location of the trauma is also a minus at the same time - in the morning the movement begins and it becomes terribly noisy - you immediately wake up from every passing and rumbling tram. The room was clean, spacious, new furniture, Russian RTR channel, cleaned daily. She lived alone, but there were 2 beds (no singles? ).

Meals in the morning are standard for Europe: tea, juices, pastries, muesli, cheeses, cold cuts, fruits. In fact, it’s monotonous, the diet is the same every day, but you’re not going to Vienna to eat! Plenty of restaurants close by...
In general, the impression is quite pleasant, as soon as I am going to Austria again, I do not exclude the possibility of staying again in *Alexander*
