No locals, only hotels, but at the same time and the corresponding prices. There is entertainment, but family-oriented - that is, with children . .
The hotel room fund caused a smile - everything is painted with black ebony paint, but it's all smudges. Thank God that the bed is normal, not sagging, and we somehow survived the poorly closing wardrobe. There is a TV, half of the channels are German, the rest are Bulgarian and maybe other countries - we didn’t really understand, the Russian one is ORT, judging by the advertisement, relayed from Ukraine, by the way we laughed when we saw the familiar advertisement in the Ukrainian language) and a small refrigerator with mini bar. There is no air conditioning!! ! But judging by their presence on the walls of the hotel, there are conders only on four floors out of seventeen. Our 10 did not have them. In the hot period, the lack of air conditioning is a big problem, even despite the balcony. Fortunately, there were windows opposite our door, which I opened and arranged to “blow through” the room.
The cleaning was strange, at first linen and towels were changed regularly, and then somehow not, although there was no shortage of soap, shampoo, toilet paper. In hotels, we once managed to get stuck in the elevator, no kidding. We went downstairs, but the doors on the first floor did not open. We started calling the dispatcher - it turned out to be a signal bell in the lobby. We call, we call, and no one comes up to us and does not answer. I was so enraged by this that no one even comes to reassure us and give feedback that we started pounding on the door. The Germans heard us, if only we had been hammering so hard. They started bottling something in their own way, I was almost yelling obscenities, finally, a security guard came (??? ) and somehow pushed the doors apart and let us out, it was not the first time they had it, after that we did not use this elevator, Luckily there were 6 of them. By the way, he constantly hung up and did not work.

As for food, I read reviews on the Internet that there are no problems with this, everywhere it’s cheap and tasty, but probably not in Albena. When we arrived, we could not find something native for a long time, somehow we did not want to experiment. Finally, it seems - and after half an hour they brought us tea, after another twenty minutes a bowl of salad, and after another twenty vermicelli, which was seasoned with some kind of spicy sauce. In the morning, having come to the restaurant of my hotel, and also 4 stars (!!! ), seeing a more or less buffet, we decided why we should eat somewhere for 1.5 hours, we will buy lunch and dinner here. They gave us a nice discount, and the food cost us less than we would pay for it at home. Breakfast is spartan (meaning that the choice of dishes is not large), although you can get plenty of different drinks. Lunch is also spartan. Dinner is a pleasant experience - full of desserts, their own baked cakes, pastries and other sweets. It is true that what is not eaten at lunch goes into dinner, this is especially evident in dry vermicelli and rice. Yes, if you didn’t finish dinner, for example, chicken skewers, then it automatically becomes a filler for chicken soup the next day at lunch. Public catering. By the way, they have soups, with rare exceptions, it is not possible - they are very fatty, and even on a hot day. In the evening, the guests were entertained by a duet that performed international hits of the past years, as well as our stage. True, it was disappointing that it was sung mostly without a soul and therefore was not perceived very much....Yes, there were no drinks at dinner, except compote from lunch. If you want to drink, even some water, buy separately. Yes, it infuriated that delicious cherry compote, when, for example, it was not enough for lunch, and almost always for dinner, was diluted with cherry Zuko. In general, you drink tinted water, with floating cherries. But in general, efficiency - you yourself wear it, and some choice of dishes, veal is very tasty in any form, left a good impression on the food in the hotel restaurant.
The hotel pool was convenient. Standard sizes and moderately deep, as well as not a large number of vacationers in front of him. There was an exchanger, but the rate of 1.85 to 1 Euro was low, the next day they found 1.9, and when we went to Varna, it was 1.95 everywhere. By the way, souvenirs in Varna are somewhat cheaper and in the same range, so it is advisable to go to Varna first - change money there, buy souvenirs, but then spend them in Albena. As for tourist services, after reading reviews and looking at prices, we somehow decided not to use the services of a local tour operator and went where we wanted to. Water activities are in full range, which is interesting in the center of the beach, one price, to one end of the beach, where the Kaliakra hotel is somewhat lower, and if you walk 2 kilometers to Kraevo, then the prices are pleasantly lower, I think that in the form of a walk you can go there for the whole day : swoop, swim, roll and back. You can really save leftists, which will be lowered in other pleasant places.
In general terms, the rest left a good impression. From idleness and doing nothing, at the end of the day we fell down without legs. True, since the hotel is located on the main street, it was incomprehensibly noisy from cars that drove constantly and it was not clear where they came from, music rumbled from cafes, which fell silent by one in the morning, but drunken Finns appeared who yelled in their vowels. There was also a VERY unpleasant noise that came from the cafe, either from the 15th floor, or from the panoramic 17th, we didn’t begin to find out, and about which I had read before in the reviews, but did not pay attention. This swotting sounded until 6 am, fortunately there was no vibration, in any case, we did not feel it. Nevertheless, all this health does not add, but woke up from it at night really !! ! And in the morning, vacuum cleaners drive and make noise, but this is not so annoying - there is less dust and debris from this. In general, if you go to Albena again, then I would choose another hotel.
