Booked an Esperanto hotel in March. A day before departure, they called from the travel agency and said that there were problems with the hotel and they would take us to Elenite to the Villas. This simply dumbfounded us and our objections were answered that they would sort it out upon our arrival. As a result, in our hopeless situation (on hand 9 months baby and 7 year old child) had to check into the hotel, although we resisted on the street for almost 2 hours.
It was the first time in Bulgaria. We flew by Belavia to Burgas. It took 1 hour and 40 minutes to fly, we were fed sandwiches on the plane, and there were drinks, respectively. When we were settled in the room, it turned out that there was no kettle and there was none at the reception either. We were just lucky that there was a laundry next to our villa and they gave us their own private kettle. Because we had to make formula for the baby. A representative from Tedi Kam swore to us that at 9 am the next day we would be found some other hotel. Naturally, in the morning we did not find him. Therefore, we simply resigned ourselves and did not spoil our nerves about the resettlement. On the first day, go to the water park on site. In principle, not bad, but the water in the children's pool is ice cold.
In general, I would like to clarify that the territory consists of a water park, Royal Castle Hotel, Royal Bay, Villas, Royal Park, Andolussia, minigolf, tennis court, beach area, shops. Plus, there are three restaurants on the territory: Sezopol (national Bulgarian cuisine), Taliana (grill restaurant), Mediterranean cuisine (fish). Near each hotel there are several pools, with the same ice water.

Everything would be fine, however, the villa hotel is not intended for families with children who still travel in a stroller. Stairs all around. To get to the canteen, you need to overcome a huge number of stairs, and this must be done at least three times. Plus there is no children's menu in principle. Breakfasts are monotonous eggs boiled, fried and two omelettes, dry breakfasts, fried toast, sausages, bacon and vegetables. Lunch is also not always varied. French fries, rice, stewed vegetables, something like cutlets, pilaf, chicken, some stuffed vegetables, salads, cheeses. Dinner was no different from lunch. For two weeks, there were watermelons three times, which we never got. There were always apricots and peaches, but they were almost always green and apples (delicious). When you list, it seems, a lot of names, but in fact it’s simply impossible to look at it for two weeks. Despite the fact that the food, in the usual case, is either fresh or very spicy, In short, in the canteen we feed much better. From drinks, beer, whiskey, wine, vermouth, mastic, brandy, etc. Everything seems to be about food.
In the room, as already written, there is a type of double bed, why type, because it's just two stands on which two torn mattresses hang, and only a sheet on top. There is an oak bunk bed, a bedside table, two mirrors, a table with stools and a table. There is a closet in the corridor, a boiler, a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet in the bathroom.
It was very damp and damp in our room and bathroom. The extractor fan in the bathroom just didn't work. Therefore, at the end of the holiday, we found our travel bag covered in mold. The clothes are all raw. There was water under the child's bed. So we were still lucky, some even lived with ants and other insects.
As for the a la carte restaurants. After every restaurant, my husband and I had food poisoning. It's strong enough, though. And yet we were not alone.
I can say one thing about the hotel, that no matter how much I wanted to go there, I don’t want to remember this horror. Better not to go there.
Of the excursions, we took from our representative a trip to the old Nessebar (I recommend it very beautifully) and to Burgas (to shopping centers). In my opinion, Ukraine is more interesting and more beautiful. So most likely we are not going to Bulgaria anymore.
P. S. Outside the hotel there is a wonderful restaurant "Meteor", a Russian waitress Irina works there, an amazing place. This is how real Bulgaria is felt, and not an artificially created territory. We have been there twice and in complete delight, both from Irina, who will tell everything about the menu, and from the institution itself. I wish you all the best and have a nice holiday
