I read a lot of negative reviews on this and other sites, so I went on vacation expecting the worst. Perhaps that is why I returned to everyone satisfied and well rested! : ) Vacation in a villa in Elenite exceeded all my expectations - both from Bulgaria (it so happened that having already visited many resorts, we were here for the first time), and from this resort.
We went on vacation as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) in the second half of June 2013. the children are already quite big (15 and 10), they ordered two rooms in one of the villas on the first line. Immediately upon arrival, we were met and taken by an electric car, along with our luggage, to the reception, the rooms were given quite quickly and without any additional effort, and they were taken directly to the villa to the settlement by the same car. The whole process took a maximum of an hour. The rooms suited us perfectly: there is enough space, cleanliness, everything you need (2 beds pushed together, a sofa that can be laid out as an extra bed, a mirror, a chest of drawers, a chair, a TV, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a wardrobe, a hanger, a washbasin in the bathroom, bath, water heater, hair dryer; on the balcony - a table and 2 chairs). To the sea - literally 50 steps (but we deliberately ordered and paid for the first line, further from the sea, of course, it will not be so comfortable). The food in the restaurant was also quite satisfactory for us, the choice is quite large, if not being too picky and willing to try something new, then eating is not a problem. If something is not enough, then these are potato dishes, but this is successfully replenished with other vegetables and side dishes. There were days when it was difficult for me to choose meat for the children, but this issue was easily resolved in favor of fish or grilled dishes. As for cold food, it seems to me that I figured out the secret: everything is always hot at the distribution, even very hot, just while you choose dishes (and the hall is quite large) and set the table, they have time to cool down! This is true, we tried to take dishes from the tables in "courses" (first snacks, then hot, sweet, fruits, and not all at once, as at first) - and the issue of cold lunches and dinners was immediately resolved : ) At first there were still problems with large the number of people (often there weren’t enough tables, you had to wait), but then a rule was introduced that guests of each of the hotels in the complex eat only in their own restaurant (previously you could eat anywhere from 5 hotels), and in addition to the main restaurant, you can eat in the complex and drink more in many places, also working on the all-inclusive system, and also available to those who eat HB. My kids were particularly impressed by the unlimited free ice cream available all day; it was also often useful to have a bite to eat pizza or a hot dog, spending a lot of energy in the sea or a water park.
The sea is beautiful, for 10 days of rest it was cool only twice, immediately after night storms. There are indeed pebbles near the surf line, they are brought by waves, but they are small and do not interfere with swimming at all. The water is clean, the entrance to the water is gentle, exactly what you need for children. And there are really a lot of children there! There is a kids club and a swimming pool, every day there are all sorts of games, contests, discos for the kids, we didn’t go anymore, but we saw that the children really like it there. The water park is generally a separate fairy tale, you can rage there all day (and not just one! ), Moreover, this is also included in ALL. By the way, a great alternative to the sea, if the water is suddenly cold or dirty after a storm.

You can get to Sunny Beach or Nessebar without any problems: 100 meters to the left of the gate of the complex there is a bus stop that runs regularly (every 40 minutes) along the coast. The cost to Nessebar is 5 leva, to Sunny Beach - 4 leva. By the way, if there are a lot of you, you can safely try to take a taxi. This is twice, if not three times faster, and the cost of the car, regardless of the number of people, is 20 leva (to Sunny Beach). And one more thing: do not be fooled by the guides with shopping tours to Burgas! From the very gates of the complex, a completely free bus runs 2 times a day to the largest shopping center in Burgas, there is no need to pay the guide 8 euros for the same.
In a word, a great place, I can gladly recommend it to families with children, you will definitely like it!
