We stayed at the end of July-beginning of August 2015. The place is good, spacious territory, the sea is clean. The beach, of course, is small, and you can’t compare it with Albena, but there were places. But all the good spoils the restaurant, or rather, I would say the dining room of the hotel. It seems to me that the room is not enough for such a number of vacationers, at the beginning there were constant queues, they didn’t replace empty pans with food at the wrong time, constantly breaking vending machines with gas and water and coffee machines, as well as spilling beer and wine, there was often 1 coffee machine for the entire hall... that's horrible. Well, and most importantly... they have been writing about this for several years....very poorly washed dishes, they probably have it forever. If you came to eat later....then cleaning the table comes down only to removing the remaining dishes, no wiping the table, in our understanding, is not provided..... which is creepy for us, they took napkins and wiped what they could. We have never experienced such service in a restaurant.
The rooms were cleaned traditionally in Bulgarian, I realized this this year....which, in our opinion, is not very clean - this is the norm for them.
I really liked the sea, the hotel is located on the outskirts behind the mountain, so there were no big waves and winds, and if you walk 300m to the center... you could feel the wind there.

And of course the price category of the hotel affects the contingent and probably the service.
If we compare last year the 4 * Kaliakra hotel in Albena... then this Royal Bay... 3 *, not 4 *
