My first discovery of Bulgaria was exactly St. Constantine - at first the Gloria hotel, then Estreya 3 * - now it was rebuilt into a SPA and I was in love with it - the quality of the food, the charm of the halls and the surrounding area). But with my husband and almost adult son, we decided to try a very tempting all-inclusive offer for the price. The hotel has a small territory, but we had no adult complaints about this, we didn’t hear the road behind the hotel at all! The view from the room was amazing - almost every room has it. And it was very pleasing. The room was very nice, big, clean. Daily cleaning, change of towels every other day, linen every 3 days. Daily - toilet paper and that also surprised replenished supplies, shower gel, shampoo.
The air conditioner worked perfectly, the TV had about 3 Russian channels. Food - breakfast, lunch and dinner - buffet. Need to say. that many tried to demand food near the pool during the day, but we were warned that all inclusive means for this particular hotel. The food was of very good quality and varied. Breakfast in addition to the standard muesli, eggs, sausages 2-3 types. sausages, bannitsa (alternated with other puffs), vegetables, salads, baked pancakes. Tea bags are different, coffee is average (but I'm very picky), but then sliced lemon, cream could brighten up the situation. Very moderate and modest pastries and cakes, which made me happy. For lunch - 3-4 soups, the meat is not soy, but very high quality, second courses 3-4, vegetables from french fries to dietary cabbage broccoli, cauliflower, etc. Bulgaria has not very bad, and most importantly natural wines and this is a problem there was no diluted wine, excellent mastic (from a medicinal and digestive point of view). Tourists who paid half board rested with us, and if in other hotels they didn’t even give water for dinner for free to half-boarders, here these tourists drank water and tea, no one held their hands. The hotel is not big, there were no queues in the dining room. In the dining room-restaurant, dishes were decorated with very beautiful and complex compositions. The outdoor pool is warm, from 11 am - the opening time of the bar - in the pool, 7-8 Germans were already waiting for beer and did not see them at sea. There is an indoor pool with cool water, which my husband and son really liked. The gym - simple exercise machines - is free and always open. 1-2 times a week in the restaurant - folklore evening - for an hour - very pleasant and interesting. Descent down to the sea, but the main return home is yes, uphill, but no more than 5 minutes. But the beach is one of the best on St. Constantine. We never took paid sunbeds, as we went with our umbrella (on the north coast, unlike Sunny Beach, etc. , you can put it in front of a common strip of umbrellas - at least 2 rows), but we did this because we came to the beach at 9 , and left at 11.30-12.00. And after 16.00 the beach is free. The sea is warm, the sand is fine, grace for children, not deep, but enough for swimming, no creeping reptiles, etc. I can’t say that it’s very clean, cigarette butts, sometimes midges (but in 2007 we didn’t meet them).
The resort itself has mineral springs, you want free baths, you want paid ones, close to Varna - by bus 20-30 minutes, where it's nice to walk and everything is cheaper. Someone went there to the opera, someone to the children's park, someone to go shopping.

Bulgaria certainly has many shortcomings - in the organization of recreation. This country is suitable for families with children, a warm sea, fairly high-quality food from natural products, a minimum of acclimatization. Prices compete with the Crimea, and the climate with Turkey.
