In addition, even before check-in, the hotel provided the opportunity to use the bathroom, change clothes (who needed it), have breakfast, go to the sea.
The location of the hotel (right by the sea) is also incredibly pleased. To the sea about 20 meters. There is a private beach bought by the hotel (sunbed + umbrella 16 leva (8 euros)) and ordinary. Sun loungers and umbrellas in the hotel are free. We used to take a sun lounger in the hotel and go swimming by the sea.
The rooms also exceeded expectations, always clean, comfortable, windows overlooking the sea.
Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the hotel. In rooms at a slower speed offer to speed up for a fee. But we had enough of that speed. The room has everything you need TV, shower towels, beach towels, hair dryer.
The food is also excellent. We always liked tomorrow by the sea to the sound of waves and seagulls. The staff is unobtrusive.
The hotel also has 2 swimming pools and a fitness center.

Settled in at night. We were given 2 rooms with panoramic windows. They wanted to ask for rooms with a sea view in the morning, looked in the morning - and changed their minds. The rooms "on the sea" are always sunny and hot, and we are not fans of air conditioners. Plus, the music, rather monotonous, during the day - from the pool bar, in the evening - from the disco. And it was good in our rooms - open windows around the clock, fresh sea air and the sound of the sea)) These rooms are very spacious, even dance) In one of the rooms, a side window, by the way, overlooks the sea. So from one balcony they looked at the sea, from the other - at the square.
Pleased with a real bath instead of a shower. There were no interruptions with water, 3 times in the evening the hot water was so... warm, but it is quite possible to take a shower, there was enough heat during the day.
Towels changed daily, toiletries updated every day too.
Cleaning is normal, however, I didn’t climb in the corners and under the beds, I came to rest, and not to control the cleaners))
Breakfasts are ordinary, two of us went early, two later. There was enough for everyone, apparently, if something ends by the middle of breakfast, then they replenish it later. An average buffet, sometimes worse, sometimes better. Fruits - alas, as everywhere in supermarket hotels, plastic Dutch or whose ones they are ((Unfortunately, there are no wonderful Bulgarian fruits and vegetables in Bulgaria now... (we, however, were very lucky by chance - we managed to eat juicy, ripe, amazingly tasty , inexpensive delicious Bulgarian peaches, nectarines and grapes - but this was not in a hotel).
So we are quite satisfied with the hotel. Just like the rest itself. Yes, there are shortcomings, but we must remember that Bulgaria is now a very poor country.

Structured by pros and cons.
So the pros:
-The hotel is located on the first line.
-Towels are changed every day in the rooms and linen is changed every 3 days.
-The hotel has an excellent swimming pool with sun loungers.
-TV, air conditioning, beautiful view from the window - everything is present. Free internet only at the reception.
- Close to cafes and shopping street.
Minuses:
-The hotel does NOT have its own beach. Umbrellas, sun loungers and even the territory itself on the sand near the sea are paid (! ), You can’t just lie on your own towel! This is nonsense. I was in Sozopol - I did not see this. Free beach 15 minutes walk.
- Very, very bad breakfast. No sugar, dried muffin, absent. fruits, tea-coffee from a cooler, etc.
- The sea is very shallow, dirty, a lot of algae.
- Far from the old town
- Music by the pool plays until 2-3 am. Mothers with children are simply beside themselves.
- And the complete absence of any animation at all.
Overall rating 5 out of 10.

We spent two weeks in Arsene in the second half of July. I want to warn everyone who is looking at this hotel right away: although the hotel is 4-star, the dining room has only 3 stars. I want to warn everyone who is looking at this hotel right away: although the hotel is 4-star, the dining room has only 3 stars. And the meager monotonous food is not all... The constant lack of forks, the lack of salt shakers, poorly washed cups (the lack of serving and the cleanliness of the tablecloths can not even be mentioned). Fruit was served green. Once there was a watermelon, but only the lucky ones who were in the dining room “on time” could enjoy it. It should be noted that the waiters (three young boys) did not particularly care about the timeliness of taking out the finished dishes (if such a suspicious look and very dubious freshness can be called boiled and then fried sausages).
Another important detail that characterizes this time the hotel is PERMANENT interruptions in hot water. And this is daily and without any regularity (eat in the morning - no in the afternoon, eat in the afternoon - no in the evening). So, those who want to take a warm shower after swimming in the sea, as well as parents of small children, think carefully before buying a ticket to this hotel.
And in conclusion, a few words about the sea. It blooms at this time of the year and you have to swim in green algae (friends who had a rest two weeks earlier on Sunny Beach faced the same problem).

The hotel was chosen at your own peril and risk, solely on the basis of reviews on the Internet. The travel agency did not have information regarding the hotel.
The essential advantages of the hotel is the location - the first coastline and the availability of parking for cars.
Despite the many reviews about the Bulgarian service, I can not agree with everything. The Arsene hotel staff turned out to be very friendly and welcoming, except for the guard's hulk, who looked like a bouncer (but this did not affect the overall impression of the rest).
I would like to note the girl at the reception named Veronika, who, despite the general rules for checking into hotels from 14:00, did us a favor and put us in a free room at 10:30 in the morning. In addition, the girl kindly answered all the questions that arose.
We were placed on the 2nd floor, the room is quite large with a huge bed. The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily, linen was changed once in 7 days. Towels and bed linen are clean and new. Although the windows of our room did not have a view of the sea at all, this did not bother us a bit, since we spent very little time in the room. During our stay, the sea was slightly stormy, the sound of the waves came into the room even through the closed windows. My husband and I slept like babies.
The ticket was taken only with breakfast. I beg to differ with many reviews regarding poor nutrition. There was plenty of food for a morning meal, in a word, even at home I don’t have breakfast like that.
A significant disadvantage is the lack of civilized tea and coffee. Yuppies are just awful.
The pool on the territory of the hotel is small and cold - but it does not matter, because the sea is very close. The indoor pool was closed during our stay.
A few words about Bulgaria: we went on a trip in our own car and never once wished about it. We visited Ravda and Sunny Beach on the way back, we stopped in Varna for shopping, in a word, we did not depend on anyone.
Food in Bulgaria is relatively cheaper, especially locally produced. Food in cafes and restaurants is available, the portions were surprising with their size.
We were very pleased with our vacation in Bulgaria, I can recommend Arsena Hotel.

We chose the hotel on booking. com.
Photos and descriptions of the hotel, territory and rooms are true. The hotel is beautiful, neat, clean and comfortable, although if you want, you can find something to complain about. I can’t say that the rooms are shabby, but there are minor flaws in the form of wallpaper peeled off at the joints, broken shower holders and slightly leaky ceilings (although the drips can be attributed to the fact that our room was on the last, 6th floor). But the view from the balcony to the beach, the sea and Old Nessebar compensated for everything. The rooms were cleaned every day, bed linen changed every 3, and towels - every 2 days (everything is white, clean and fresh). For me personally, there was not enough kettle in the room.
The hotel staff is friendly, welcoming, smiling and honest (we left money, documents just in the bedside table - everything is safe and sound).
We ate according to the "Breakfast included" scheme. I will allow myself to disagree with those who called breakfasts "meager" and "monotonous". Considering that this is "BREAKFAST", and not lunch, and not dinner, then the food was just wonderful. Omelette, fried eggs, boiled eggs, casserole, pasta, spaghetti, oatmeal with milk, porridge, couscous type, rice, (of course, not all on the same day, side dishes changed throughout the week) lobio, muesli (2 types ), breakfast cereals (3 types), pate, 3-4 types of sausage and 2 types of cold cuts, hard cheese and feta cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 types of sweet buns, white and rye bread (from which you can make toast), bun with sausage, 3 types of jam (among them - amazing jam from figs), honey, local sweet and sour yoghurts; from fruits - plums, pears, peaches and watermelon; from drinks - apple and orange juices, mineral and plain water, milk, tea and coffee (here coffee is really tasteless - but there is boiling water, and you can buy coffee in the store to your taste, and take it with you). And I'm not sure I haven't forgotten anything. There are no lines, there is enough for everyone. You can eat in the restaurant or on the terrace. For lunch and dinner we went to restaurants, which are in abundance in Nessebar at every step. The portions are really large, you can take a salad or a side dish for two adults. There are a lot of fast foods where you can eat normally for reasonable prices. If you eat in a restaurant, then an approximate menu of chicken soup, side dish, 2 types of fish, salad, 2 glasses of wine or beer, juice and coffee will cost 30-40 lev (approximately 150-200 UAH)
Now about the beach, the sea and the weather. The beach is clean, every morning uncles with rakes clean the sand. On the beach there are umbrellas and sun loungers - everything is paid. Umbrella + sun lounger = 14 lev (about 150 UAH), but you can only take an umbrella for 7 lev and lie down on your rug or towel. Free beach - for 200-300 meters, behind the beaches of hotels. Or you can sunbathe near your hotel (there are also umbrellas and sun loungers, free of charge), and go swimming to the sea (go down the stairs), or plunge into the pool. You can sunbathe on the beach until 5-6 hours, and then the sun hides behind the hotel building. The sea was clean and warm, but the wind was blowing all the time, and the sea was either slightly or violently stormy. On the first and last days of our holiday it was cloudy, the rest of the time it was warm and sunny. It was a little chilly in the morning and evening.
We were very pleased with the hotel, the country and the rest in general. With a clear conscience would recommend the hotel to friends.

The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day, a couple of times left a tip on the bed, but the maids did not take them. The minuses of the room are only small: sockets torn out of the nest, wallpaper ripped in some places, stains on the carpet, a broken pedal on the trash can, a broken soap dish (which our child finished off, paid 10 leva for it). The safe is paid, for 14 days we paid about 60 UAH.
I will not describe the breakfasts, in previous reviews it is written in detail about this. I join the complaints about tea and coffee, the drink is full of g... In my opinion, there were not enough fruits and croissants at breakfast (they were taken out either at the very beginning of breakfast or at the very end, I had to regularly run to check their availability, we love them with daughter very much). Once they served a dish incomprehensible to me - beans in tomato sauce with herring. There was no desire to eat it by sight and smell.
There were not enough sunbeds by the pool for everyone, but we usually came by 10 am, we always found one. One was enough for us, you can’t lie too much with a child. By the way, on the beach the first row of sun loungers that stand on concrete slabs under the hotel itself is free. These are hotel beds. Only there 1 umbrella for 10 sunbeds.
I really liked the location of the hotel. Stop, sea, shops, playgrounds, even a small amusement park nearby. I was very pleased with the prices of the products. We went to the shopping center in Burgas for things. By bus 1 hour, the ticket costs 6 leva.
We went to eat mainly in "Stariat Kesten". From the Bulgarian cuisine, I really liked Sach.
This year we are going to go to Arsene again.

The sea is clean, transparent, without algae and jellyfish, very warm and shallow. The pool is clean, but there is a lot of bleach (it saves when there is a storm on the sea). There were big waves for two days, but jumping on the waves is a delight! There is a bar with drinks by the pool (for a fee). The fact that you need to take them in advance (this is everywhere and everyone knows), but if you come after breakfast, you will still find a place, we didn’t get up at 6 in the morning - this is nonsense). What I didn't like was the screams of seagulls!! ! They yell like that in the morning - like a cat is giving birth! Breakfasts: monotonous, but there is a lot of everything and you can eat for every taste (muesli, barley, sausages, sliced, vermicelli, pastries, fruits, vegetables - the problem is only in the coffee maker there is always a queue, and coffee terrible). But in the restaurants of the city - really TASTY, large portions and prices are normal.

Tell me, please, in the area of the South Shore there is a cafe with a children's menu. Or at least a cafe where you can eat the usual broth or borscht for the first time. Last year, after three days of rest, the child flatly refused to eat a cake of soup and cream soups.
