I highly recommend "Orpheus" to everyone who travels to Nessebar!
We were from 24 to 31 August 2011.
About the hotel: Very nice, not big building. Only 2 floors are allocated for rooms, there are not many rooms and, accordingly, the guests are the same. We met with other guests only at breakfast, we never saw or heard from them again.
About the rooms: our room was not big, but very comfortable, overlooking the city and the sea. The room has everything you need for a comfortable life: a comfortable double bed, a dressing table, a chair, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a TV with cable TV (there are 3 Russian channels), a wardrobe, in which we found clothes hangers, brushes for clothes and shoes, thread with a needle. On the balcony, where there is a table with chairs, it is very pleasant to see off and meet the sun.

About the location: "Orpheus" is located on a quiet street of Cyril and Methodius in the center of the New City. It is very convenient! ! Literally 100 meters away is the lively Khan Krum shopping street, where you can buy everything your heart desires, and in our room it is quiet, a small park separated us from it. In addition, the good location of the hotel allowed us to very quickly reach both the North and South beaches. It's a 7-minute walk to the North, but it has a very small free zone. The south beach is a little further to it for about 15 minutes, and along it itself to the free zone for another 7 minutes, but it is very large, cleaner and nicer than the north one.
It takes about 10 minutes to the stunning Old Town. Every day we went there for a walk before going to bed. This is an absolutely amazing place. I highly recommend everyone to see Nessebar, both day and night.
About food: in "Orpheus" we had only breakfasts, but you could also order dinners. We really liked the costs: hearty, something new every day, vegetables grown by the hotel manager himself. By the way, he served breakfast himself. We were always full and happy. For lunch and dinner, you can go to any restaurant, of which there are a great many in the area. I do not advise to eat in the Old Town, very expensive. In the New Town, on average, lunch for two cost us 12-16 leva, dinner at 20. I advise you to try as many national dishes as possible: kavarma, sach, moussaka, kebapcha, etc. They are sooooo tasty, sooo big and not at all expensive.
About the service: In "Orpheus" the service was at the highest level. Cleaning every day, change of towels (and they are issued 3 per person) after 3 days. With any question, you could always approach the hotel manager, Peter. Very nice, kind and responsive person. He speaks excellent Russian, so he can advise on what excursions to go on, what restaurant to go to, what wine to choose, he can simply tell about Bulgaria, its inhabitants and customs. He has an amazing sense of humor, so we consider it a great success that we got to know Bulgaria through this wonderful person.
During the week of our stay at Orpheus, we did not have a single complaint. Honestly! So I recommend it to everyone, you will be satisfied!
