Family with 2 children aged 14 and 5. The tour operator "Rosting" (Minsk, shopping center "Globo") worked flawlessly, thanks to Marina and Anastasia!! ! We rested in Nessebar for the first time, last year - on Golden Sands. I liked the rest in Nessebar very much, even despite the "budget" option (in July we "traveled" around Europe on a sightseeing bus tour, I wanted to just relax on the sea "no frills" in August). The main advantages of resting in Nessebar: 1) definitely a CLEAN sea (in general, the beach / water / landscape on the South Beach of Nessebar, in my subjective opinion, is better than on Golden Sands and (except for the landscape) is MUCH better than in Crimea.
Last year we went to see Albena for a day, were unpleasantly surprised by green algae in the water, there is no such thing in Nessebar; 2) A VERY beautiful Old Town, picturesquely located on the peninsula (in the afternoon and evening it is too crowded with tourists, but we went there a couple of times for a photo session on a "deserted" morning, we were delighted). Every day you will sunbathe and swim, admiring its panorama! ; 3) an important plus for many is the low cost of holidays in Nessebar + affordable prices in local cafes / restaurants, shops full of products (including ready-made salads, meat dishes, etc. ) at affordable prices (best prices and selection - shop "Mladost" in 3-4 minutes walk from the "Golden Fish"); 4) shoppers can go to Burgas (from the center of Nessebar, a free bus runs to Burgas Mall about every 1.5 hours.
The shopping center in Burgas cannot even be compared with similar malls in Varna (we are not talking about Western Europe at all), but in terms of clothes and shoes, the choice and prices are better than in Nessebar, and on the 1st floor - Carrefour. 4) a very pleasant surprise - CITY DAY August 15: open-air concerts, an exhibition of photos of architectural monuments in Bulgaria, a children's party in the city park, a light show and at 22.00 amazing fireworks over the Old Town. Both we and the children were delighted. The rest of the pluses are typical for the entire Bulgarian coast: mild climate, no language barrier, friendly attitude of the local population, etc. I did not notice any minuses typical for this particular resort. As for the hotel: it can be praised and criticized in equal measure.

Main advantages: 1) VERY good location next to the South Beach, 3-4 minutes walk from the paid beach area (paid umbrella and sun lounger) and 10 minutes from the free beach area (a vast SLOW-SLOW sandy hillside 30 m from the water, where everyone there is enough free space for those who wish) or 15 minutes. - free beach area near the water. Next to the hotel begins the main shopping street of Nessebar (Father Paisios) with numerous shops and souvenir shops. From the hotel to the Old Town about 20 minutes on foot, to the park next to the hotel "Vigo" with free children's swings / slides and fitness equipment no more than 10 minutes on foot. 2) friendly staff, regular cleaning, cleanliness of the rooms 3) AFFORDABLE price 4) in a small hotel there are no queues for breakfast (breakfast is standard for Bulgaria, not very varied, but "hearty": muesli / scrambled eggs / cold cuts / fried sausages / cheese /tomatoes/cucumbers/olives/fruits/pastries/tea/coffee/the well-known "terrible yuppie").
The minus of the hotel (the only one, but very important): the windows of our room overlooked the street, along which not only l / a, but also noisy buses drove from morning to evening. There was no opportunity to move right away, and then they didn’t want to mess around, for several days they got used to the noise with the window ajar (at night they didn’t want to turn on the air conditioner so as not to catch a cold for the youngest child). The windows of some rooms overlook a noisy street, others - a quiet street leading to the sea. May you be lucky!! ! There is no pool in the hotel, but it is not needed when the sea is very close? ! No other cons found! In general, I really liked Nessebar, we plan to rest there next year.
