We went by bus. Tour operator Alma-tour. The road is long and long.
The main plus: everyone was taken there and back safe and sound, without much damage to health and property, the bus was an ordinary comfortable tourist bus.
Of the minuses:
- when we went to Bulgaria, the air conditioner in the bus did not work, since it was not hot outside, but this is not the norm for such pressurized buses, it was stuffy in the cabin, some tourists upon arrival in Bulgaria complained about such “comfort” to the tour operator and received compensation in the form of a free tour;
-the trip was carried out by 3 Bulgarian drivers, it is significant that there was no group leader, therefore they were 5 hours behind the schedule of movement, the stops were too long due to the lack of clear regulation on the part of the drivers, on the way back they tried to take on the role of "controllers" some tourists, but it was no longer timely, therefore, many were late for trains from Kyiv to their cities.

- there was no transfer to hotels upon arrival in Bulgaria to the resort, the drivers answered the bewilderment of the tourists, and where did you write it down. Indeed, when I was handed the documents before the trip, I drew attention to the word “no”, next to the word transfer, immediately asked a representative of the tour operator, to which she reassured: “Don’t worry, of course it will, ” my travel agent said the same thing. In fact, they took us to one of the resort hotels and that’s all, 7 people really threw us closer to their hotels, having done a favor by going along the road of the second, and not the third line, and then they didn’t take us, but we carried our suitcases for another half an hour, getting lost at three pines. On the way back, we had already scheduled a taxi, and, oh joy, at the door there was a note from the representative of Alma-tour “you will be picked up from the hotel at 12”.
And I can’t attribute it to pluses or minuses, the fact that on the way there, we apparently went astray and met the morning together with the inhabitants of Romanian villages, it was even interesting, of course, not very drivers. Sheep, cows are driven to pasture and we are going so bright and beautiful. We looked at the local natives with interest, and they looked at us. Apparently, such buses never traveled in those places. The impression of the Romanian village is bright in the morning, and the chips - orange euro urns in the villages every 100-300 meters and electric strings of garlands over the road, well, did not fit in with geese, chickens, bicycles and a broken rural road. But the first impression of Romania is night, they sleep in the cabin, outside the window there are empty bright streets of some city, a beautiful road with bright white "nomenclature" - these are dividing strips of zebra, etc. , we drive like clockwork. And in the morning we started to shake a little, the neighbor half-awake also noted “that we are making our way through some kind of smuggling paths, we don’t want to go to Bulgaria through customs” : )).
And then there was Bulgaria and huge white windmills, and on the way back they were the same, but among the fields of golden sunflowers.
Yes, the trip is certainly long and tiring, but it was interesting, there is something to remember.
I chose the bus because of the significant reduction in the cost of the trip, and then the mess with the volcano (ash) just ended, this also bothered me a little, it was more disturbing by plane. If you cannot live a single day without comfort, then, of course, you will save time on a plane. There were 4 families on the bus with children from 4 years old, they survived the trip courageously.
I didn’t think to write so much about the road, but something got carried away.

Now the hotel. The tour took a week and a half and the hotels, which were originally outlined, were in the stop. Azuro took it out of hopelessness, there was no better option anymore - the price and proximity to the sea. In the photo, the hotel did not like at all, especially after Egypt, Tunisia in previous holidays. Maybe this negative attitude helped, but I personally liked the hotel. It was comfortable, the rooms are spacious for a 3 *, the carpet is like home, the beds are comfortable, the balcony has a mosquito net, the towels are white, blue, terry smell of lavender, the refrigerator is old, but working, the air conditioner is new, but weak. It was not hot and he was almost not needed. 2 bedside tables, TV... in short, I will attach a photo, see. The large shower is tiled quite civilly, with a curtain. The water is constantly hot, the plumbing is normal, towels are changed every three days, bedding once a week, cleaning daily, but I needed it every three days, because when I was in the room, I asked to take out the trash and that's it. Of the minuses in the shower, the fan did not work, hence the light mold near it on the ceiling and the entrance door is a hollow Canadian, I didn’t even want to put this house between the rooms, you understand, it’s flimsy and the sound insulation is bad. Otherwise, I liked the room, it was comfortable. The balcony, as in most hotel rooms, faced the north side, there was a lawn about 10 meters in front of it, a fence, and behind the fence there was a cafe, in the evening the tireless Germans sang karaoke there from 10 am to 1 am, a bit noisy, but believe me, the Azuro hotel is located in a quiet part of the resort , in the mornings and during the day it was quiet, and at night after an hour somewhere.
The hotel was probably built in Soviet times, but quite decently restored, the territory is clean.
I took breakfast at the hotel. Normal food. Two types of fried sausages, three types of eggs, beans, lentils, pasta, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, cheese, sliced sausage, ham, corn flakes, chocolate balls, sour milk, strawberry and peach yum-yum jam, milk, tea , coffee. Bulgarian coffee is often scolded here, I am not a coffee lover, I made something like cocoa coffee from it, there was some kind of chocolate powder + milk. Puffs of 4 types, incl. with cheese, chocolate, jam, rolls are different. Fruits: Persians, incl. canned, watermelon, melon, oranges, apples, cherry plum, canned pears. For the season there was everything except cherries, watermelon and melon in early July I tried for the first time. As for me, good breakfasts for 3 *. There is an indoor restaurant with good chairs and tables with tablecloths and an open part with plastic furniture, I liked to have breakfast outdoors.
Does the hotel have a gym. There are sofas and a large wide-format plaza in the hall. the TV, which collected and united football fans, was just the World Cup. In cafes all along the coast, the same televisions gathered German fans. There are many Germans in Sunny Beach, for them these Bulgarian resorts are especially beneficial with their (Germans) relatively high income level, as the Bulgarians themselves say.

Let's go back to the hotel. The location is excellent, 100 meters from the sea, away from the center of the resort - quieter. The hotel has an exchange office, the exchange rate is favorable and honest. Safe 5 leva (25 UAH) per day, a large laptop will not fit, the camera loves it. a digital camera and a medium-sized camera were placed. Passports of tourists are stored in separate safes at the "reception", no fee is charged for this. I rarely swam in the pool only in the morning before breakfast sometimes, the sea nearby is excellent, the sand is soft, they clean it every evening, the machine drives, sifts. Paid umbrellas and sun loungers occupy 10-20 meters of the coastal strip, in this southern part of the resort the coastal strip is especially wide and there is where to roam, those who want to lie on the beach for free - on their bedspread and with their umbrella. In the central and northern parts of the resort, paid umbrellas and sun loungers sometimes occupy the entire territory of the beach.
Excursions: I went to old Nessebar on my own, wandered around, took pictures, there are a lot of people there, and the city is interesting, then we went there on the beach. I didn’t like the beach in old Nessebar - algae, instead of sand, small shell rock, last year’s wicker umbrellas. I went to the water park in Sunny Beach, there are many different slides, but sensible for us for girls 3-4, the rest are super extreme and fear of God, I liked the rivulet with a quiet course. The water park seemed somehow not cozy, despite the embellishment, in the form of small "sculptures" of elephants, pelicans, Apollo. As the theater begins with a hanger, so similar establishments with a locker room and a toilet, sorry, these common areas are dirty. The music in the area is too loud.
I bought a sea tour from Alma-tour, I was not happy. Again, I compare with Egypt, they also took the ex by sea, what wonderful boats there are - coziness, comfort. Here is an old loud-voiced Soviet boat, of course it was washed and turned on with a lamp, but everything is known in comparison. The upper open deck is nothing, it will be better. From the boat they drove on a motorboat to the shore - the Bunardzhik reserve, nothing remarkable, a steep slope overgrown with trees, crackling from the sound of butterflies and birds and 10-15 meters of the coast covered with slate stones, the water is really clean. I really liked to cross on a motorboat, especially when the waves rose, better than in the water park. On the boat they were fed grilled mackerel, potatoes, salad drinks were included in the price of the ex. There were tourists who wanted rakia (Bulgarian vodka), they were poured, and upon arrival on the shore they put up a not weak bill, it turned out to be a scandal, no one had any idea that this strong drink was not included in the price of the excursion. The guide somehow hushed everything up, but it didn’t look very nice. Pleasant impressions remained only from the motorboat and the way back on the upper deck, otherwise so-so, excursion. cost something around 65 lev (350 UAH somewhere), lasted half a day.
I liked Bulgaria - the climate, the sea, the sandy beach, mutual understanding with the local population, no language barrier, no pestering and rudeness, as in Egypt, Tunisia from the male population, democratic prices, the food is close and tasty to us, pink cosmetics - so many souvenirs friends and relatives and scored myself!

In general, the trip to Bulgaria and the hotel left a good impression, I will go to Bulgaria again with pleasure.
I like to take pictures, so I will definitely attach a photo of the room, the resort, I made postcards from some, look.
