Maybe those who are used to "all inclusive" Sunset will not like it, but all people are different, tastes and preferences are also different...
For example, I love small hotels of the "home" type... What would you be met with a smile and help you have a good rest...
My friends and I were vacationing in Sunny Beach for the first time, more and more in Golden Sands... And in 2008 we were offered to visit here. I got what I dreamed of, especially since I haven't been by the sea for two years. . .
We all liked it - some more, some less...
The hotel, as I have already noted, is not very large, the rooms are standard for all Bulgarian resorts, but clean, comfortable, overlooking the 5 * Helena RIU hotel and the road to St. Vlas or the hotel courtyard...

But I don’t recommend a room on the 5th floor near the elevator... I suffered all the first night from the hum of some technical units, either washing machines worked for them, or refrigerators... but there was no sleep and I was in the middle of the night, at 3 I went to the reception with a pretense... They didn’t send anything... but they went to the room with me, listened, and in the morning I was offered a choice of any of the other three rooms. I chose on the 3rd floor with access to the courtyard. When my friends found out that I was moving to another room due to the discovered defects in my room, everyone wanted to change rooms... And what is surprising (I have never seen anything like this in Bulgarian resorts before) they were all satisfied... everyone moved... everyone was satisfied.
Breakfast at the hotel is standard - European, like everywhere else (eggs in any form, meat cuts 3-4 types + fried sausages, sausages, bacon, fresh vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers), fruits (peaches, oranges, plums, watermelon, drinks all sorts... but I don’t drink “cask” coffee myself and I don’t recommend it to others... but they, in the hotels where I was, are like that everywhere...
It is better to drink coffee in a good cafe.
The hotel does not have its own beach, but this is not a problem... go ashore and choose a place under the sun where you like it! Umbrella and sunbed - all for 2 euros... In a hotel near the pool, you can always lie under an umbrella on a sunbed for free. It suited me, because I love the sea from early morning and until 9-10, when normal people just wake up... That's why on the beach a sunbed and an umbrella didn't cost me anything... there was still no one at that time, except for cleaners beach. . .
Yes, and people only start to crawl to the sea from 10 in the morning... So until 10-11 you can lie down quite calmly by the sea, and then by the pool or according to another program, since there is where to go (Nessebar, St. Vlas) or go ( Burgas, Pomorie, Sozopol).
The hotel staff is smiling, helpful (of course, not without exceptions, but this is not remembered).
The hotel had a massage room with an excellent specialist - physiotherapist Sasha. She is an amazing person. After a complex of body and face massages, I returned home a different person! So thank you to all the staff for my wonderful stay. If all goes well, I hope to see you again this year 2009. Anyway, I'm going to Sunset again!
