In August 2014, I rested in the Selena 3-star complex in Sunny Beach (not to be confused with the Selena Resort 5 stars). I purchased vouchers to the Selena 2 hotel, but in fact it turned out that since May 2014 Selena 2, Sunrise and Sunny Tunis have been united in the Selena complex. This complex includes three swimming pools just the same of these three hotels. Meals are organized in a restaurant near the Sunrise Hotel. We were offered a room at the Sunrise Hotel. The room has air conditioning, a double bed, TV, bedside tables, a bathroom with a shower. Everything is in working condition. We lived on the 2nd floor in a building away from the road. The noise didn't bother me.
I liked to relax in this complex (4 out of 5 points scale). We were placed promptly and no one disturbed during the rest. At night the hotel is quiet, there are no drunks and after 22.00 there are about a dozen people on the territory. Mostly families, couples over 50. There are Russian speakers and about half of the Bulgarians and their neighbors.
I liked the food: a lot of raw and stewed vegetables, soft meat (they offered chicken, pork, beef and lamb (not at the same time), sausages and meatballs, muesli, milk, jam, chocolate sauce, honey (possibly unnatural), french fries, soup, fried egg, boiled egg, scrambled eggs, salted cheese, dry sausage, olives and olives, greens, various local fruits, cakes and ice cream. The beach is close (walk 3-4 minutes). on the wild beach.
