We were already at the Selena-2 hotel in 2013. We liked it then and I recommended this lotel as quiet and peaceful. Then I read a review. that in 2014 two hotels were merged and there were two buildings: Selena and Sunrise. This is a noisy building, the windows of the rooms overlook the pool, near which music plays continuously from 11 am to 11 pm, there is not even a quiet time from 2 pm to 4 pm, as in other hotels. I remembered our disputes on the forum about who is worse to relax with, with Russians or Ukrainians, and it became funny. Guys, you didn’t hit the Romanians !!! And in this hotel there were sooo many Romanians. They came in whole camps, they made a lot of noise. They had towels on the sun loungers around the pool around the clock. In the morning you want to sunbathe, there are no people at the pool. and the beds are all occupied. because these people themselves went to sea. They appeared at the pool after dinner, at 2 pm, and started yelling and having fun in the pool almost until the evening, so that the window could not be opened. Words are not understood. The hotel management did nothing. spoke. so many complaints. but these people came to rest. In short, this hotel has new tenants and they have set their own rules: standard rooms only in the Sunrise building. and they called the numbers in Selena Large and they are now more expensive. So, if anyone wants a quiet rest, then specify that there must be a Selena building. The food corresponded to 3 * and the cost of the hotel. No service, but tolerable. Ice cream from morning to evening. Those Romanians that I wrote about, fortunately, left after 3 days and the pool seats appeared. New ones arrived, but also not burdened with culture. I saw how my aunt tried a chopped tomato, she obviously didn’t like it and she threw it into the same common salad bowl, from where she took it. It is normal for them to put the baby in a diaper on the table and feed him like that. If the child dropped a plastic cup. then they took another. and put the dirty next to the clean. In general, I was really afraid to pick up a rotovirus, but it happened. And how they took food out of the restaurant in huge plates - I have never seen anything like this! I will not go to Sunrise anymore, because it is very important for me what kind of people are resting next to me. Fortunately, then we went to Albena, where we had a good rest for two weeks. But this is my subjective opinion, the son said that the hotel is cool! Besides. I made good purchases on Sat and in general. was satisfied. But still, if I book this hotel again, then only the Selena building, without constant music. And you think. All the right choice of hotel next year.

Very convenient for the child. Room for 3 is quite spacious, bed (huge !! ) and a folding chair. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hair dryer should be taken at the reception. Iron there only.
The contingent of vacationers at the hotel is pleasant and positive. No negative divination, no drunk tourists. Mostly families with children. I am very grateful to the travel agency "Come with us" for this wonderful vacation!

This complex includes three swimming pools just the same of these three hotels. Meals are organized in a restaurant near the Sunrise Hotel. We were offered a room at the Sunrise Hotel. The room has air conditioning, a double bed, TV, bedside tables, a bathroom with a shower. Everything is in working condition. We lived on the 2nd floor in a building away from the road. The noise didn't bother me.
I liked to relax in this complex (4 out of 5 points scale). We were placed promptly and no one disturbed during the rest. At night the hotel is quiet, there are no drunks and after 22.00 there are about a dozen people on the territory. Mostly families, couples over 50. There are Russian speakers and about half of the Bulgarians and their neighbors.

In the first week, we wanted a very quiet hotel in a fairly fun resort. Selena-2 approached in Sunny Beach. According to reviews in 2012, this is a quiet hotel with poor food. Nutrition for us for this period was not a priority, although we love to eat. We thought that if it was really bad, we would have dinner in cafes. But this year everything turned out better. Breakfast is standard: eggs, sausages (we don't eat), good smoked sausage, very decent cheese, bannitsa, sour milk, jams, muesli. All this is constantly replenished to the last customer. For dinner, always pork like beef stroganoff, liver or chicken, kyufets or kebabche and some meat on the bones, I didn’t take two types of side dishes - rice and potatoes, chopped vegetables, only watermelon from fruit. Of course, not Laguna Park, but the price is much lower. No crowds and excitement, a free approach to dishes, the queue is small only at the opening at 18 o'clock. Food is replenished all the time. There is no tea for dinner, only hot and cold water, but you can buy your bags in the supermarket and brew, this is not prohibited. We dined in the same restaurant, but for money. Inexpensive. In other restaurants, everything is more expensive and less tasty. The staff is friendly. The hotel is 3-storey without an elevator. We ordered the last floor, so they settled us. The windows of all rooms overlook the pool, where people swim until night. However, it is really quiet there. Everything we needed to forget work. Near the Zora supermarket, where we bought juices, water and everything we need. It is far from the center, so for those who want to visit places of entertainment often, I do not recommend this hotel. Transport in the evenings is crowded, they even ride on the steps. We went once and the trip was terrible. The soul was warmed only by new sandals bought at the malls. Walking from Selena is best along the promenade. On Wednesdays at the Bikini bar on the embankment there is a party of Latin American dances. My son invited me there, he is engaged in dancing. The point is that professional dancers come there - boys and girls. And they can be invited as partners. Very interesting! To enter, you need to take a cocktail for 6 leva and dance for yourself or just watch. For those who are interested, I advise you to take at least Czech shoes, it is inconvenient to spin in sandals. We only went to St. Vlas, bought fruit, because they are expensive on Sat. The week flew by unnoticed and we gathered further - to Nessebar, where we also planned to spend a week, breathe in romance, walk around the evening city, chose the Orpheus hotel. The room was cleaned well, the linen was clean, the cleaning lady always put soap accessories in our room, but another maid did not put any soap, no shower gel, or toilet paper with friends. The main advantage is a quiet, calm, NOT PASSING territory of the hotel and close to the center. 5. Breakfasts, dinners - monotonous, but tasty. There is a minus - the tables were not wiped, so it was somewhat unpleasant to sit down at them (on the street). The chef needs to work on the assortment of the menu, otherwise after 2 weeks you already begin to howl from the same thing. 6. I really liked living on the first floor: the pool is in front of my nose, the bar is nearby. And, in general, a beautiful view. The soundproofing of double-glazed windows is good and there was no noise from the street at all. 7. I recommend everyone to visit the Windmill restaurant nearby: VERY delicious Bulgarian food, friendly staff, calm atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. 8. But the most important thing is that the hoarder is a good company and a vacation in this country will seem like an amazing fairy tale to you!!! !

The food is not bad, yes, a little monotonous, but there is a choice for those who like to eat hearty and for those who follow their figure. Fruits were given every day different. For a change, we sometimes dined at restaurants, which are very numerous in Sunny Beach. For lunch, it is inexpensive and tasty to take ready-made food in the Zora supermarket (a minute walk from the hotel). There, right in front of you, fry fresh meat and chicken, stewed vegetables, potatoes, and eat salads. We took something meat, vegetables and fruits in the same supermarket (much cheaper than on the embankment) and dined at our hotel in the company of inexpensive pleasant cool wine. We went a little further to the sea - to the beach of Helena Resort. It is cleaner and more comfortable there, there is a volleyball court, where animators often organized a game (my husband is a volleyball fan, so he was thrilled). In the evening we always went for a walk towards the center. There and entertainment for the child, attractions, etc. , and for us. And after walking up, it was nice to return to your quiet, calm hotel. We went to Old Nessebar several times. Very nice, pleasant town. In general, Bulgaria is good. This year we are again going to Sunny Beach to the Helena 2 hotel.

It has its own fenced area, there is not enough greenery, but not bad, the pool is decent, they clean it every day, but we haven’t seen bleach treatment. The food is delicious, this is a big plus and a rarity, thanks to the chefs. Meat every day for dinner in the range: beef, pork, chicken, turkey. The lack of catering is the lack of tea at all for dinner, there is only compote and then not always - there was only hot boiling water and that's it. For breakfast, you can drink coffee, both with milk and without it; tea, cocoa - in general, everything, like people, there are no pretensions. The rest of the breakfast set is standard, like everywhere else: eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages are not edible, feta cheese, olives, sausage and vegetable cuts. I would like to note the absence of greens, as such, in breakfast and dinner and the absence of fruits in breakfast, and for dinner, fruits were given in a very limited amount. Another drawback is appliances with spices, salt, etc. etc. they didn’t put it on the tables until you asked for it every day, and there was no mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard at all, to our great surprise. And the biggest disadvantage of the hotel from our point of view is that all the staff, from the reception to the maids and restaurant workers, are heavy smokers and it was very unpleasant for us non-smokers. By and large, the vacation was a success, we were lucky with the weather, the beach is excellent, it’s comfortable to walk nearby, the sea is warm, clean, and this made us happy every day.
