We stayed at this hotel as a couple in early July. We chose a completely different hotel, but it turned out to be full and there was not much choice with our budget, so we ended up in Shipka, 3 * for a vacation. We flew perfectly, the transfer bus was already waiting for the hotel. Upon arrival, the first thing I liked was the hotel staff. Very friendly, open and sympathetic people, they helped us all the rest and solved all all questions. Our room was pretty good. From the furniture there were beds, a wardrobe, furniture on the balcony, a table, chairs. From equipment - TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. Bathroom with normal plumbing, there were no smells of strangers. Cleaning is average. Breakfast at the hotel is not very varied, but everything is fresh and tasty. There were eggs, slices of cheese and sausages, pastries with sweet fillings and a snack bar, vegetables, fruits, porridge, cereal, yogurt and more. The territory of the hotel is small, there is a clean pool, sunbeds. Close to the beach, loved it. Nearby there are many different shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and more. . Very tasty seafood and fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and had a great time. Thank you very much for the holiday. The hotel is suitable for budget travelers who understand what to expect from a 3* hotel.

We got to this hotel by accident - a couple of days before departure, another hotel unexpectedly canceled the reservation (for which I thank them very much, their accommodation was not next to Shipka). We chose Shipka from 3 options because Google Maps showed its placement on line 1, and the other two - on the 3rd.

But since the hotel was not particularly full and the rooms were ready, we were settled right away, we didn’t give anything to anyone, and didn’t ask anyone for anything. One of the best experiences is the staff. Very polite and helpful. Before the trip, we read negative reviews from Rashko-tourists - we were driving without much mood - in fact, this negative turned out to be an outright lie. The room is cleaned daily, the floor is also washed daily, soap-shampoo is reported, the garbage is taken out daily. Transfer organized perfectly - minute by minute, good new cars. We rested as a family, 7 people, 3 rooms - 901.902 and 903. The hotel is built at an angle, so even if there is no sea view from the window, then you can eat from the balcony. Breakfast buffet. What exactly was missing for me - meat. I don't eat pork and sausage, and there was no alternative. True - and I was not hungry, the breakfast is pretty decent, there were enough cuts, and sausages, and ham. The pastry was sweet, with salted cottage cheese and spinach. In short - a solid European breakfast. The location is excellent - the first line, between the hotel and the beach is pedestrian, near the Aldo hotel there is a large supermarket with a good selection and prices. There is a public transport stop near the hotel - out of 8 days we went to Nessebar for 5 evenings to wander and have dinner, there are a lot of good restaurants with local cuisine and excellent prices. By the way, the restaurant in Shipka itself is not bad. And across the road there is a restaurant of another hotel, where we often had lunch - the prices are slightly lower than in Shipka, a good choice, a lot of delicious desserts, good cuisine. There is a refrigerator in the room. Bottled water was 0.5, no extra charges. Refurbishment is fresh, just done. The furniture is new. Minus - in double rooms there are 2 beds that do not move tightly, there is a space between them. The hotel has mini golf which is played by a lot of people, especially in the afternoon when it's too hot on the beach. Actually paid, but for hotel guests it's free, just show the card and play as much as you like. Shower on the wall, drain in the center of the floor - but from a practical point of view, this is a very convenient option, given the fine sand from the beach. Someone considers this a negative factor, on the contrary, we took it as a convenience. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom and it works. Near the reception there is a children's playroom, there is also a small children's area near the golf course. The field itself is under large trees - there is always shade, the sun does not fry. There is no pool, but on line 1 it is not needed. For those who wish, it is possible to go to the pool located on the territory of the hotel, but belonging to the Condor hotel - 5 lev per person for the whole day. A huge plus, which is unusual for Bulgaria as a whole, is that the whole hotel and the surrounding area has full Wi-Fi coverage, high-speed Internet, free of charge, it pulls perfectly with any hotel load. In a word - this trio honestly draws on 4 *, we will be happy to stop there again.

In the morning there is simply NO (monotonous breakfast) - a buffet, and at dinner what they will give - no buffet! You sit at dinner for 30-40 minutes - you wait until they bring you what they have, and not what you want.

By the way, the bedding and towels are more or less in fair condition, but obviously not new. We had to pay 24 leva (about 12 euros) for a damaged sheet (the child spilled the juice), so the prices there are no joke. The guys at the reception are adequate, but for some reason the girls are lost and do not know Russian well. It’s impossible to watch TV, because the channels are either local, you don’t understand the language, or Russian lies.
A lot of Germans rest in the hotel, especially young people who come in groups. Also, a sea of Russians, who proudly walk along the embankment in the evening, show everyone their T-shirts like "I was born in the USSR. "

Rested in Shipka in September. The location of the hotel is good, on the 1st line, lucky with the number (like me) - a gorgeous view of the sea opens up. Bathroom is tiny. Even coffee from a vending machine (60 stotinki with cream) is much tastier than the vodka that you pour in Shipka called "coffee". Be careful with money!! ! They steal (30 leva was stolen from my neighbor). At the very least, put money and documents in a lockable suitcase. At the hotel reception there is an exchanger (honest), the rate is normal. It turns out that in Bulgaria in early September it is already cold! Especially when the north wind was blowing. Take windbreakers and jumpers.

I rested June 10 to June 24.2013. The only plus, as everyone noticed, is the first line, but in Condor they are also practically the same building. Before the trip, I found very few reviews, so I didn’t know what kind of food, but now I want to warn everyone to go around this place sideways, this is a hostel of the USSR.
