Of the attractions - Nessebar is not far away. The rest is to watch only if there is nothing to do. 2 real supermarkets: Mladost near the road to Burgas and M. M. near the Aquapark, and many smaller supermarkets: Zora, Fresh market, etc. An abyss of small shops, which are also called supermarkets. In addition to cafes and restaurants, there are a lot of pizzerias and bakeries. There are no coffee shops. You can spend time sunbathing, eating and sitting in the evening in restaurants and clubs. The embankment, lined on both sides with rather unsightly shops with the usual souvenirs, T-shirts, slippers, ice cream, can quickly get bored. There are interesting adrenaline rides in 2 central squares. On opposite sides of the SB are Nessebar and St. Vlas. Both there and there you can walk (about 1.5 km) along the coast, along the road, rent a bike car, take a bus (they often go along the central road, 1-2 leva) and take a free bus from the Aquapark. Saint Vlas: clean, calm, small villas, smaller beaches, higher prices, many Russian speakers, no sights. Nessebar is new: a town with residential 5-storey buildings, 3-4 streets with shops, cafes, 1 supermarket, vegetable shops. Prices are lower than on Saturday. Then, through the isthmus, the new Nessebar passes into the old one. There are already many old (about 150-200 years old) typical houses built there, in which there are guest-houses and hotels. In the center are the ruins and preserved buildings of ancient (IV-XIII centuries) temples. Lots of tourists. You can bypass it in 3 hours. Varna did not strike - the usual south-Soviet poor big city.
Food: what I personally liked - sour mash, all sorts of salads from vegetables and mash.
Prices: +/- Kyiv, but meat is more expensive.
Hotel Orel/Astoria. Two 12-storey hotels united by a common reception, lobby, swimming pool and restaurant. They differ in price, the presence of a bathroom, not a shower, the size of the room (Astoria is more expensive). The view from Orel is better - on the old Nessebar. Room about 14 m2, bathroom - toilet, washbasin, shower (watering can, wall mount, curtain, without rim). In general, for a medium-sized person. Balcony - 2 chairs, table. Air conditioning, TV. Change of towels every day, beds - every 3 days, cleaning - almost no. Restaurant: a variety of vegetables, meat, side dishes, sweets, fruits, everything is constantly replenished, soups, beer, white-red wine, water. In the lobby - alcohol, coffee from morning to evening, also in the pool bar. Beach: 3 meters across the street with umbrellas, sun loungers, a bar with beer and water.
