Sunny Beach is a big disappointment!
And so... I'll start with the positive! There is a huge coastline in Sol. bereg! Pure fine sand! There is enough space on the beach for everyone! Most of the hotels are close to the sea! Transport is good.
Unfortunately, this is where the positive ends : (
Now for the sad stuff:
1. The carpentry resort is built up with hotels and a minimum territory.
There is a minimum of green spaces, and natural trees have been cut down.
There is no park with benches, flower beds and fountains in the city!
The coast is flat, you can't see the sea from the embankment! Yes, and there is actually no embankment! It is lined with stalls, it seems that vacationers come not to breathe by the sea in the evening, but to walk along the Troyeshchinsky market. Everything is for sale from children's backpacks to school, to autumn jackets, maybe someone forgot to buy... There are plenty of casinos for those who need it.
2. Product prices! Sometimes higher than in Nessebar, Burgas and Pomorie. The cafe is 30 percent more expensive.
3. Actually the sea! Oh petty. You need to walk a long time to finally swim : ( The only pontoon has long rusted. On paid beaches, a sunbed is 8 levs, an umbrella is 8 levs. The course is -1 lev. 50 euro cents. There is NO shower and toilets! But there are lifeguards!
August 16 were on the beach - oh horror! The sea was full of disgusting algae, in this mess you had to walk 30-40 meters to swim. There was no wind, and we were bitten by midges living on the sand: (You can’t lie close in the water!
After 5 days, the algae disappeared... and a couple of days later a new variety appeared... hoo...
3. Now about fraud! Gullible tourists are thrown into currency stalls! They set several exchange rates... then it turns out that a high rate is the acceptance of traveler's checks, and not cash euros and dollars.
They hang it on loose ice cream, I will never believe that 2 balls can weigh 320 grams.
We came here on a budget package, but we hung out in Nessebar, Pomorie, Burgas.
Ticket to Nesbra 1lev. 30, to Pomorie 3 levs, to Burgas 6 levs.
I can't recommend Sunny Beach for a vacation!
