Good afternoon!
We rested in the Marina 4 * family with a daughter of 7 years. I really liked the hotel and liked the area of Sunny Day and St. Constantine and Helena. The territory of Sunny Day consists of 4 hotels combined into a single zone Marina 4 *, Veronica 3 *, Mirage 4 * and Palace 5 * and this zone is separated from the common road by a barrier - therefore, even on weekends, there are practically no locals on the beach, as in other places (and as everywhere in Bulgaria, because all the beaches and hotels are the same, municipal and accessible to everyone).
I advise Marina, she, in my opinion, has a lot of advantages in terms of location and service. And only she stands on the very shore, or rather, even on the beach.
About the hotel.

Before Bulgaria, there have already been many places in Europe, Greece, Turkey, Asia, always staying in 4 or 5 stars, so there is something to compare with. The Marina Hotel is a full-fledged four and not, as many write on other sites, that it doesn’t pull on a four. I would like to ask - what kind of "cool" fours have you stayed in before? Four she and four in Africa))
We arrived at the hotel at 9.30 am, we were immediately put on bracelets and invited to breakfast, they said that before check-in we can leave things in the storage room and take a shower, because our room will be ready by 13.00. I asked that if possible we were settled as early as possible, and an hour later we were already settled.
The rooms are a bit small but we only slept there so it doesn't matter. Our room was overlooking the sea, every evening we fell asleep to the sound of the surf, a real relaxation! But if you take a room overlooking the park, you will get no less pleasure, clean air, greenery of trees. And again, it's quiet, it's quiet everywhere!
About food. I am simply amazed by the reviews about the scarcity of food in the hotel. At lunch, people manage to put three types of meat and 4 types of side dishes on their plate, then a plate with a mountain of vegetables and salads, and then they still throw at least 2-3 types of desserts, and on top 4 types of ice cream, or pastries (???! ! ! ) and at the same time they write that there is nothing to eat... It would be better if they took care of their figure, there were no slim ones on the beach)))
By the way, the ice cream is very tasty, and it tastes natural, as before, there are always 4 types to choose from. I have not seen that it would never be enough. I don't care for ice cream, but I enjoy it.
Fruit - always fresh apples, peaches, nectarines, watermelons and a couple of times there was a melon.
The drinks are those that are Bulgarian and are included in the "all inclusive", very decent, not like in Turkey. Very tasty champagne "Iskra" drink as much as you want. Rakia, tequila, white and red wine are very good.
From 11.00 to 16.30 snacks at the bar, cookies (4-5 types), pastries (cakes, apple rolls), snacks, coffee, tea.

Children's animation in nearby Veronica. Again, I can only say good things, in 4 languages (including Russian). Almost twice a week, children's evening shows are prepared, in which children are participants, and not just spectators. The kids are sure to love it!
It’s a pity, of course, that in the Marina itself there is a children’s club, but it doesn’t work.
Umbrellas on the beach are free, there was no "fight" for them and you don't have to get up at dawn to take a place under the sun. Although the hotel was completely full and still high season.
Wi-Fi in the lobby of the first and second floor. There are also public computers, 3 pieces.
Room cleaning every day. We hung up a sign so that they would not clean us up, but the maid girls very politely still asked if they could clean you up? The staff is generally polite and adequate, not to be compared with Turkey, where feigned politeness ends when there is at least some kind of problem. In general, in Bulgaria the feeling of security for oneself and for the child is much higher than in exotic countries. This is what I liked.

The contingent of the hotel - Russians, units of Ukrainians and Belarusians, Germans, many of the emigrants. The audience is mostly decent and calm. A lot of people have a rest with large families or companies - grandfather, grandmother, mother, father, a couple of children.
I went to the spa several times for wraps - not very bad and not expensive, by Kiev standards. There is also mud and a mineral water pool, which is free for hotel residents.
If you want a good relaxing holiday for yourself and your children, which you will long nostalgic for (like us, who have just returned tanned and peaceful), then Bulgaria is what you need !! ! Happy holidays!
