Hotel. Check-in at 15:00. You may be lucky to see the room before this time, but in any case not earlier than 14:00. Bags can be checked into the luggage room. Your passport will be picked up at the reception and returned the next day. But you can leave it there until the day of departure. Apparently, the hotel is the largest in Golden Sands. I counted 9 floors with rooms + garage + 2 floors with halls and halls. And probably the only hotel with its own territory. In the evenings there are children's discos (every day the same music : )), themed musical performances and adult discos. Audibility is very good, so do not fall asleep until 11. Keep this in mind when traveling with children. But after 23 it is quiet near the hotel, even though the embankment is crowded.
There are two options for sea view - directly and from the side, because. hotel letter "P" with processes. Unsuccessful numbers are those that are at the junction of the walls. I was lucky - the room is at least lateral, but extreme and on the top floor. Therefore, the sea was visible well, but I was not visible : ) Many seagulls.
Another plus is that the hotel is located on a hill - thus, vacationers from other hotels do not go past.

Number. I booked a single room, but actually lived in a double room. The room has two beds, two armchairs, a floor lamp, a TV set, a chair, an ottoman, a wardrobe (without horizontal shelves, unfortunately), a mini-bar (for paid drinks), a safe (free of charge), and air conditioning. The bathroom has a shower, a bathtub, two sinks (with a large mirror), a full-length mirror, a toilet bowl, a bidet, a drying rope, a TV sound button, a hair dryer (inconvenient), I did not find sockets. On the balcony there is a plastic table and two chairs, a dryer. A convenience that I have never seen before is special buttons near the beds. One is turning off / on the main lighting (regardless of the position of the button, the light can also be controlled from ordinary switches). The second (or rather, two of them) is the notification of the maids. Press the red button - the red light is lit outside near the door “Please do not disturb” (and you don’t have to get up, look for a piece of paper . . You don’t even have to open your eyes : )), press the green one - the green light “Clean the number”.
The coloring of the interior is very pleasant, the bed is soft and comfortable. The carpet is not very clean though.
Restaurant. Breakfast - scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruits in syrup, various cereals, sweets, coffee (did not like it), tea, such as juices, yogurts, maybe something else. Lunch - two types of soup, fish / meat with various side dishes, salads (specific), various cuts, no more coffee. Dinner is also quite varied. There is always ice cream in plastic cups - vanilla and chocolate. And many, many delicious sweets (something new appeared every day). Soups and main courses were rarely repeated. Beer and wine of local production is also always available (faucets near juices). Entrance to the restaurant from two sides.
The hotel has two swimming pools, a bar near the reception and a bar near the pool, and probably something else. But since I haven’t been anywhere from the above, I won’t tell. The only thing - I know, in the bar for "all inclusive" you can have a free snack and drink tea / coffee.

Golden Sands. I didn’t go above the hotel, because. When we were on the bus, we didn't see anything interesting. And it’s hard to wander far alone. But I know for sure that there is a water park. I went to Varna. There for 15 leva by taxi, back - for 3 by bus. There I reached the Spartak stadium, then walked along Vl. Varnenchik street and nearby. I did not like the assortment of clothes in the stores. The exception is summer skirts (10-22 leva). I probably bought it a couple of years in advance, because there are problems with this item in Moscow. In Golden Sands, there is a fairly large market (clothes, bags, souvenirs) in the Astera - International hotel area. There are also skirts : ) I did not notice a significant difference in prices. They speak Russian badly, but they will understand you. And I would not say that the Bulgarians are distinguished by some special kindness (as they said in the agency and some reviews). People are like people. They can be rude and help. And they often smile because they want to earn money - in the resorts, almost everyone works in the service sector. Just be polite and ignore the rude people.
Weather. All 7 days - about 30 degrees. There was no rain. But evenings and nights are cool.
Beach. To get to the beach, you need to go down the stairs and cross the footpath (the embankment, along which special cars and small trains sometimes pass). There are several entrances to the beach, so the entire strip is divided into several sections that differ in width and color of umbrellas. Since there are practically no hotels behind Melia, there were fewer people on the beach than in neighboring areas. Sunbeds, mattresses, umbrellas - paid. It's not a problem to lie down on a towel in the sand. The entrance to the sea is a "step" - almost immediately knee-deep. There were strong waves all week, but the water is very warm. Not transparent : ) Sand on the beach mixed with shells.
Embankment. Along the sea there is a path with stalls, shops and cafes. In the evening, after sunset, this is the main walking street. On one side it ends with a small lighthouse (I do not advise people with poor coordination of movements to go to it - it is dangerous) and an amphitheater, on the other - with hotels.
I want to go there : )
