I rested at the hotel from August 20 to 30.2010. I am an experienced tourist, the euphoria from the first visit to a foreign resort is far behind, so I will try to state my impressions as objectively as possible. So, due to the fact that the Berlin Golden Beach hotel I chose did not give confirmation, on the advice of the tour operator I went to Morsko Oko. The external impression of the hotel is the most positive - the hotel is on the first line, very beautiful, even pretentious. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is of high quality and modern, the interior is decent. The double room has two single beds and an armchair bed. Large balcony with a table, two soft ottomans and a transformer for drying clothes. Air conditioning and refrigerator worked perfectly, plumbing in the bathroom is of high quality. Settled in the room quickly and without delay. Some criticism is caused by elevators - there are only two of them, and both are not freight, they are designed only for four people each, so they had to wait a long time. In addition, they often broke down, and their speed of movement was lower than that of a turtle. The rooms were purely symbolically cleaned daily, but the linen was not changed. . Even dirty towels thrown on the floor were picked up and hung back. So I advise you not to tip the maids - this does not affect the quality of cleaning in any way. The main restaurant was very unpleasantly surprised - the food was bad, the menu is very meager and monotonous, there are few fruits and seafood, the assortment of dishes did not differ in variety, the same thing was offered every day, the quality of food and the freshness of the products were in doubt (you can’t fool the stomach of a chronic gastritis). If you are half an hour late for the opening of the restaurant, you can generally stay hungry. As for the pool, then taking a sunbed near it is an impossible task, besides, the sunbeds themselves are of disgusting quality and condition, in other words, they are simply gouged. In addition, the pool water is highly chlorinated. Since I was vacationing with a child, I really counted on the pool (daughter is afraid of the sea after visiting Egypt). I had to sunbathe on the beach (2 sun loungers and an umbrella - 10 euros per day). There is no animation in the hotel, only two girls by the pool entertain the children. In general, the verdict is this - unobtrusive "soviet" service is hidden behind the external chic of the hotel. An unspoiled and not very capricious tourist can relax once for the sake of interest, but hardly anyone will go there the second time.
