Bedding - shabby with time, but everything is there and towels changed regularly. It can be seen that the laminate in the room and the floor tiles in the bathroom are fresh, that is, they are quietly forging this old hotel. The bathroom is a toilet, the washbasin is old, there is no shower as such, and a sprayer leaves the washbasin, that is, you wash on the floor, spraying on the toilet and washbasin, while water flows into the drain in the floor. But the water was always hot, without interruption and excellent pressure. There was no air conditioner, kettle, refrigerator, but we didn’t need them and the thickets of trees under the window protected us from the heat.
Food - we only had breakfast and it included: fresh peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, feta cheese, pickled olives, a couple of types of boiled sausage and hard cheese, butter, pastries, cookies, cereal and milk, jam, toast, boiled eggs , hot garnish (often vermicelli + fried sausages), coffee-tea, compote, milk. Every day is the same, but it is clear that there is plenty to choose from and eat.
Location. Chaika area, very close to Golden Sands. The hotel is all greenery, the trees are large and the shade from them gives coolness.
To the sea: the nearest beach - go min 7 - go down - 200 meters along the road, then along the path with steps (146 pcs. ). It's not scary) the steps are not sharply down, but two or three and exactly, then again two or three and exactly. You walk not in the sun, but always in the cool shade of the trees. The beach is cheaper and calmer than in the center of Golden Sands. Return to the hotel in the same way. If you are with a stroller or fat, then it can be stressful)
To the center of the Golden Sands resort: you go out through the backyard of the hotel into the forest and along the illuminated path you get to the road, and everyone goes to the center along it. This is min 15. Of course, if you are a lonely girl in high heels and in a dress going to a disco in the center, then it will be difficult)
Near the hotel there is a good shop and a pharmacy, the prices in them are really cheaper than in the shops of the resort center.
The hotel is spacious and there are benches, a terrace, a neglected playground. Wi-fi is free at the reception and on the terrace, there is a rest room with internet too, and if you want to go to your room, you have to pay extra.
We knew how much we paid for this hotel and therefore did not expect anything new. There are other hotels nearby, their prices are at least 5 times higher, they are newer, but located in the same place, and the territories of these new hotels give the impression that they tried to cram everything into a small area during construction.
We came across the sea and walks - we succeeded. Everything is within walking distance, in a quiet place and cheap. Therefore, they were satisfied. We wanted to move - 15 minutes on foot and you are in the center of a noisy party.

The territory is small and there is no pool, which is probably not needed when you can walk to the sea.
The staff is super friendly and relaxed! Basically, everyone knows Russian, English and Ukrainian, unfortunately - no! Russians, Ukrainians and a few Bulgarians and Romanians rest in the hotel. . . The hotel is located on a hill. You can get to the sea in two ways, one along the other road - partly through the forest park using the emergency exit from the hotel. The path through the forest park (path) is illuminated at night. Down to the beach, the road takes 10-15 minutes, and back up, whoever crawls... You can go to the nearest beach there are fewer people, or you can walk a little further to the central one. By the way, on the right side of the central beach there is a pipe from which warm water flows from a mineral spring with an admixture of hydrogen sulfide. There are equipped with pacifier-type showers and vacationers take free treatments.
We had all inclusive which means 3 times. meals, soft drinks, and local wine and beer.

The TV was old (CRT) without a remote control, after a few days it smoked, but after that everything was fixed within 15 minutes, an apology was made and a new TV set with a remote control was installed. The quick work of the technical staff and the service were a pleasant surprise.
The room was cleaned daily. Linen was changed every 3 or 5 days, I can’t say for sure, but if you wish, you can ask and the towels will be changed immediately.
Air conditioning or a fan is not provided, but given that the windows overlooked the territory of the hotel, which is planted with tall trees, it was not hot and even cool. By the way, there were no mosquitoes! slept with the window open.
There is a bus stop nearby from where you can get to Varna for 3 levs (1.5 euros) or for 1.6 levs to closer tourist places. And if there are four of you, then for 4 leva per person you can get to Varna by taxi. Taxi services are very cheap.
I'll sum it up. The hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday, you are guaranteed to recover by a few kg, even if you go to the sea and the promenade 3 times a day. I recommend for rest to those who understand what a budget vacation and delicious (without exotic) food are.
