Hello!
O. Hainan was recommended to us by friends who spent the New Year there. We ourselves have heard about this place more than once, and after positive feedback from friends, we also decided to try this place.
We arrived on the island in the afternoon. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the heat typical of tropical countries. But, in comparison with Thailand, the heat here was different: not so hot and humid, you can breathe and feel fresh at times.
At the exit, we were met by a Chinese guide Daniel "Pearl River" (host company). We expected that it would be like in jokes, such as "my yours to know", felted fox", "holoso-holoso". But, fortunately, everything turned out to be the opposite. The guy spoke Russian very well, understood us and even the sound "p" uttered)) He escorted us to our transfer and told information about Hainan along the way. Fortunately, the road was free (there were few cars), so we arrived at the hotel very quickly.

We stayed at the Hua Yu Resort in Yalong Bay. Very calming environment, lots of plants around. Although the regular staff spoke poor English, this was made up for by their willingness to please us in every way. Our room was standard with a large bed. The room has a standard set of amenities (bathroom, TV with Russian channels, air conditioning, balcony). The hotel has an intercontinental breakfast, nothing stands out. But near the hotel there are restaurants, both Chinese and European. Chinese cuisine is, to put it mildly, very specific. I love spicy food, but then I was given to understand that I'm just a beginner in the spicy cuisine. After one dish, where basically it was only pepper and meat, I felt like Gorynych . . ) Then we were recommended sweet and sour dishes and we liked them. All meals are reasonably priced.
On the 2nd day of rest, we found the Jade Dragon healing spa on site. We went there out of curiosity. We were hospitably greeted, given tea to drink, pulses were felt. They said it was Chinese medicine. Finally, the muscles were well stretched for us, wow))
We were taken to the sea on an electric bag for 10-15 minutes. The sea and the beach are wonderful, nothing to say. And it's clean, and there are few people, and a good tan is obtained. There are all kinds of entertainment (water bike, boats, diving, etc. ). If you wish, you can fly kites in the evening. Very beautiful and big snakes are made in China!
We were very pleased with our trip to the Chinese tropics. So I recommend everyone to go.
