We arrived from Sanya 3 days ago. What can I say, we have never had such a disgusting vacation. Let's start with the fact that the tour operator was supposed to enter us into the group list of tourists, but my husband was entered, but not me. As a result, I was turned around at the border, exhausted all my nerves, kept me for about 2 hours, and this was after a 9-hour flight, and forced to pay $ 70 for a visa. Our budget cracked right away. The hotel is a weak C grade, it doesn't even smell like a four. The service is not just bad, it's non-existent. The reception staff cannot even explain themselves in English, they only know “hello” and “thank you” in Russian. As you understand, you won’t go far with such a vocabulary. The walls in the rooms are paper. Audibility is as if we are sleeping on the street. The door to the balcony is broken, they could not open it, the shower does not work well, it is dirty. Before the trip, I read reviews of other tourists, people wrote that they had very varied and tasty breakfasts that they ate right to satiety. I don’t know what kind of unpretentious tourists they were! Same breakfast every time. No matter what time we came for breakfast, at 7 am or 9-30, the plates were either half empty or completely empty. We were hungry a couple of times. There are few tables in the restaurant. We arrived in the evening, at eight o'clock, started asking our guides where to have dinner, we were advised a restaurant in the hotel, where there are simply WILD prices, and a couple of cafes near the hotel. The cuisine there, to put it mildly, is not very good, and in my opinion, flying to China to eat Caesar with borscht is too expensive. Representatives of our tour operator Southern Cross were seen a couple of times during the entire stay: at the entrance to the hotel and at the exit. Then, no matter how many times we entered the main building, at any time, they were never there. THANK GOD that they were not poisoned by anything, and nothing happened. Otherwise, it’s great, you could die there !! ! Since we were unlucky with the weather - it was cold and cloudy all week, that is, you don’t lie on the beach all day, you need to do something, go on an excursion, for example. But we can't, because there are no representatives of the Cross at the workplace, and the hotel staff speak only Chinese. HORROR! By the end of the week, we met the Chinese guides, they speak Russian very well, they sit in the lobby of the main building next to the counter of our Cross. But representatives of the tour operator forbid the Chinese to offer their services to their tourists. Moreover, they themselves also do not bother themselves with such trifles !! ! The Chinese offered us several options for excursions to choose from, they completely adjusted to us in time, the price was 2 times lower than that of the Cross, we were taken to a wholesale souvenir shop, silk and tea for free. The guys are just great! Brightened up our dull stay))
