The hotel is right opposite the airport!
Before choosing this hotel, we couldn't decide for a long time between it and the Osean Sonic, which was $300 more expensive. We chose this one and regretted it. The biggest shock was right on the first night – it was simply impossible to sleep there!!! ! I don't know who was so poetic about the planes taking off and landing that you watch from your balcony, but they simply made it impossible to sleep! After a 10-hour flight, we couldn't get even 10 minutes of sleep – it was a disaster...We covered ourselves with pillows, put earplugs in our ears – it was all useless. We had to take sleeping pills because I felt like I was going crazy. It got a little better later, but I never got used to it. I had to constantly drink alcohol just to sleep. The other side of the hotel faces the sea, and you probably can't hear as much there, but there's an extra charge for sea-view rooms - 300 yuan per night, and everything was booked up because a lot of Chinese people came to the island before Chinese New Year, because they were on holiday. Another important criterion we used to choose this hotel was the availability of sun loungers and umbrellas, which was advertised on the tour operator's website. THEY ARE NOT THERE!!! ! And never have been!! ! Another scam! We had to hide from the sun under a palm tree and clear the dirt from the sand in the bushes (because they don't clean them). We also had to hurry to get a spot in the shade because the Chinese people wanted to lie there too. The beach itself is wide, the sand is yellowish, the entrance to the sea is gentle and sandy, the sea is clean. The first few days there were no one at all, then a few Chinese people started to appear.
Unlike Dadonghai, there are no corrals or whistlers keeping you out of the sea. Swim as much as you want and wherever you want.
