It takes a long time to fly, from Kyiv to Beijing 11 hours, from Beijing another 4 hours to Hainan Island, Sanya, Yalongbey Bay, very beautiful and quiet (comparatively) A lot of tourists confuse Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree and Mangrove Tree hotels - these are different hotels, one on the 1st line, the other city.
Here we are met by "Eden-Travel", the guide Ivan, he treats tourists like suitcases, loaded them, delivered them in a luxury car, settled them. And not a word about excursions, I poked a price list with excursions and that was it! )
The tour included free diagnostics at the Ginseng clinic, but the prices for treatment there, wow! ) We took them to a survey in Sanya for free, tried to sell shark oil pills and ointments with snake venom, and held a tea ceremony, and bought tea there . But don't call it a tour.
Immediately advice to tourists who have not flown further than Europe and Turkey - do not choose China, I think after reading my review you will understand why.

We love Asia, but China has blown us away. . .
In China, they don’t speak or understand either Russian or English, sign language is the very thing, they talked like that)))
So, to the hotel; settled very quickly and attentively, everything is clean, simple and comfortable. There is a very attentive girl Bella at the reception, she speaks Russian and is always ready to help - THANK YOU to her. The currency was changed at the reception, as they have everywhere the calculation is only in yuan.
The room is spacious, very comfortable, has everything you need, bathrobes, slippers, bathroom accessories, safe. Quiet, the view from the balcony to the garden and mountains was mesmerizing. But the first thing that caught my eye was an unwashed window... (it was never washed) Everything is cleaned well, but windows and mirrors remain stained (((
The furniture and the front door are old and shabby, the shower on the balcony is also in a deplorable state.
We only took breakfast. . . the first day, and here is exactly what immediately shocked us: the restaurant seems to be big, but there are a lot of people, the Chinese people, they very quickly scoop up and snatch everything, they spit and spit right under their feet, they smoke and they litter everywhere, pushing, running, shouting... extreme for our tourist! ) On the second day, we (and all foreigners) were put in a separate room, phew... , you can safely have breakfast, it wasn’t there, there was a lot of food, BUT... it is not clear to us. Hunger is not an aunt, I had to watch the Chinese, what and with what they eat) it turned out to be very tasty, they got used to it, they survived) Advice for coffee lovers - coffee with me in my suitcase, I brewed it with boiling water. Chinese don't drink good coffee. Dinners at the hotel are very expensive.
For dinner, we walked to the square, a 15-minute walk from the hotel, there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops and souvenir shops. The usual and very tasty food for us was in "Rizza hut"

Their toilets are labeled "wash room" for information.
The hotel area is clean, green, just a paradise for children, a playground and a heated pool. The pools are really small.
We were a little unlucky with the weather, from 28 to 1 it was raining and the sea was cool, and then everything got better all the time, the gentle sun and the sea pampered.
On the beach, some restaurant site is being repaired, the roar and the paint stank very strongly, if the wind is from the other side, it’s straight to the point of a headache (((
and again... let me remind you, we are in China! )
The beach is magnificent, towels are issued under the room, there are a lot of sun loungers, there was enough for everyone, but many of them are broken.
And here again the shock, the beach is like a hotel, but anyone can relax, tourists come from city hotels, locals from all over Hainan come and it begins... what we call impudence, and they are the norm. Let me explain: it is normal for them to lie on your towel, despite the fact that your things are lying there, and you are swimming in the sea. The Chinese do not sunbathe and do not swim (isolated cases) But they gather in crowds, 3-5 people on one sun lounger, and how loud they are! ) But this can be tolerated if it were not for littering...
We went to the statue of the goddess Guanyin ourselves, took a tourist card (were given out for free at the reception), we caught a taxi on the street and after 1 hour we were there, the entrance is paid, but it’s very beautiful there) it’s worth going.
We were surprised at many things, we learned to eat with chopsticks, we studied their menu and manners, we admired nature and the sea. And when we left, it was a pity, I wanted to watch at least a few more days, to finish studying, to admire)
And let China live its own life! Thanks for reading and good luck on your travels!
