the hotel is located in the new resort town of Yantai
fly from Beijing for about an hour. resort on the yellow sea. for the first time in my life, the color of the sea matched its name. it's really yellow.
the city is just being built, for example, the Sheraton was still closed and being completed (it is already working this year). I love these cities.
He somehow reminded me of the Turkish Mahmutlar of the period 2006-2008. when the houses are all new and growing like mushrooms.
the hotel is on the second. if not on the third line. 800 meters to the beach, although you can see the sea from the room.
We arrived at 8 am, 40 minutes drive to the hotel. they settled us right away. it's nice.
there were no complaints about the room, everything was clean, new. wi-fi caught perfectly. there were questions about the bathroom - it is very old and rusty. accessories in the form of shampoo, gel, brushes, paste were. slippers too.

Breakfast at the hotel, thank God with a claim to European - you can eat. minus - the restaurant is open until 8.30 in the morning. somehow unusual. breakfast we overslept on the second day, they brought us to the room (free of charge). nice again. the staff is very attentive, they speak English (it surprised me). fulfill any request. They even provided bath towels for the beach since we didn't bring our own.
about the beach itself - it leaves much to be desired. in September, work was carried out on its equipment, a beautiful embankment was being completed. there is not much garbage on the beach, but it is + algae and dead fish. in the center of the resort on the embankment is very beautiful - they built a kind of pier that goes far into the sea. music plays there, and in the evenings it glows beautifully in different colors, at the very end of it there is a huge diamond (I don’t know how to explain it correctly - see the photo). during the day the beach is empty, and in the evenings there are a lot of people on the promenade. it feels like the whole city.
it was a little disgusting to go into the sea from the beach because of the algae, but I couldn’t help but tick the box “swimmed in the yellow sea”. took a boat trip. I liked it, but in the evening it gets colder and we are terribly cold. the marina is located a few km from the central embankment, you can get there by taxi. but there is a fish market right there, so you know, the aromas are not for the faint of heart. the smell of rotten fish is such that my eyes watered and I breathed through a towel until they sailed away, but the Chinese would at least have something.
food. delivery to the hotel whatever you want. for this I love Asia very much - you don’t need to go anywhere.
were also in the restaurant near the hotel. tasty but silly. prices are average. but in the restaurant building there is a city development plan (collage) as well as strange figures (see photo). China has proved once again that it is a country of perverts.
they also ordered food from KFC and local crap to the beach. the guards on the beach helped - they explained in Chinese exactly where to bring it.
in general, 4 days on the yellow sea were excellent, they returned to Beijing tanned and with a slightly renewed nervous system.
