Old, authentic hostel. Such, you know, - China-China with a beautiful "courtyard". We had a double room with separate beds and our own bathroom. Room on the ground floor, the window is high, overlooking the wall (to the well), but it was not hot and there was enough air. The hostel is clean, very crowded, the bar is packed at any time of the day. They speak English, which is rare in China. There is always boiling water, it was not possible to achieve cold water, it was necessary to drink a pill - they poured it hot. There is a mini kitchen, there is a hairdryer in the shared shower room. The rooms have towels. There are no bath amenities. There are toothbrushes with paste and soap.
The hostel is located in the very center of Beijing, on the Dazhalan pedestrian street, not far from the Qianmen metro station. The beauty around is incredible, you can eat for 10 yuan (dumplings) in a cafe, which are full around. Coffee is better to buy in the store in sticks and drink in the hostel. You still get coffee from a stick. Although there is KFC near the metro, you can drink coffee there.
Keep in mind that a taxi will not drive up to the hostel, you will have to go through side streets.
