Although the hotel was damaged by the hurricane, by the time we were in it, work on its restoration had not ceased to continue. The hotel has been almost completely refurbished. The pool bar has been completely renovated, very attentive service, and unique cocktails, just unbeatable! I would like to give special thanks to the bartender Carlos in the hotel lobby, for his constant smile and amazing service))). There is a brand new bowling alley on the beach, where we often spent time. The stretching beach from the Grand Hotel to the bridge connecting Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Coco. The sand is snow-white, under the daytime sun its whiteness hurt the eyes, and in combination with the incredible color and beauty of the turquoise-blue color of the spring sky of the water, it created a fabulous nature. From the beach we forced ourselves to leave)))). The territory also suffered, but there was no trace of Hurricane Irma. Everything is in order, palm trees, flowerbeds, lawns, everything shines with its beauty and novelty. Large and clean swimming pool, free sun loungers anytime and anywhere anywhere. There were few people in the hotel, and there were no Russians at all. Silence, tranquility and complete relaxation)))). We wanted a quiet and beautiful hotel when we were planning a vacation in Cuba, but we did not even suspect that we would go to heaven. . I was struck by a very diverse animation, and simply entertainment offered by the hotel. Evening performances are very colorful, constantly live music. Archery, kayaking and just having fun on the beach. The rooms have also been restored, perhaps not all of them, but we were settled in exactly this one. Housekeeping was 5c+ which is a huge rarity in Cuba. The bed and towels are fresh and white, the mini-bar was replenished daily with two bottles of beer, soda and a large bottle of water. The bathroom has new plumbing, the furniture is also new, the view from the balcony is simply incredible!! ! The food is beyond praise. Bar and grill on the beach with ribs and chicken, A-La-Carte Mediterranean restaurant with shrimp from which you can just swallow your tongue. The main restaurant with a rich buffet, an excellent selection of fruits and fresh juices. As a result of our holiday, I want to say that it was unique, and with great pleasure we recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to spend an unforgettable time.
