Before this trip, we were in Cuba about two years ago, and this time we were advised to go to the islands to the hotel, and it turned out that this is a completely different Cuba, an incredible resort with a stunning beach. They met us very cordially, quickly showed us to our room overlooking the ocean, brought our things. The room is wonderful, everything is brand new, it is clear that after the renovation. New furniture, two beds were combined together, but during sleep it was not felt. New appliances, plumbing, there is even an iron and ironing board and umbrellas in the closet. Cleaning is excellent every day. About the staff. We were treated very well, a couple of smiles, and you are the best friend. If you also give a couple of cookies tips, then the attitude becomes directly friendly. Our tourists were not here at that time, we were the only couple, but this is even for the best. We wanted comfort and relaxation, silence and magnificent nature, and we got it in full!
The hotel has one large pool, there was sometimes daytime animation, but the most important thing is the stunning beaches and the ocean. There are two beaches, east and west. To its western part you need to go through a narrow river along the bridge. Both beaches are excellent, always clean, we have never seen algae. It is constantly cleaned, there are a lot of sunbeds, but with a large number of tourists in the hotel, the beaches seem deserted)). The ocean is clean and warm, the water is clear, but the waves were almost every day, not high . . I would like to note the high level of the restaurant and dishes. Next to the pool there is a great bar where after lunch you could have a sandwich or a hamburger before dinner. They also make amazing cocktails. Also, the hotel pours excellent rum in any bar, with a long exposure for free. The hotel has one large restaurant. There are tables both indoors and outdoors.
A very good choice, a lot of wounded fish and meat every day, very tasty fruits, salads, just sliced vegetables and herbs, cheeses, ham, seafood, but not every day. But lobsters for money, 20 kuk per serving. They also cooked a very tasty wood-fired pizza in the Italian A la Carte, awesome, cooked a delicious grill! There is also a second, very romantic, called Don Diego. It is impossible not to gain a couple of extra kilos))). We highly recommend the Sol Hotel, we are just delighted, and we can safely recommend it for a family or romantic getaway for two.
