Cuba is Cuba. You can either love it or not love it!
In Holguin, the locals are a little slow, this is precisely this area's feature. Therefore, everything will be done, but slowly.
This hotel is for adults only!
Check-in - fast, tasty (because with champagne), beautiful.
The room is large, the furniture and renovation is Cuba, as they can do it. Were with friends in the "elite, new" part - everything is beautiful, but the quality is Cuban.
The beach is big. But their machine for removing sand broke down, so they cleaned it as best they could. You don't need to take anything. Cook a beach boy and your sunbeds will be waiting for you in the morning at your favorite place.
Nutrition - we can say that it is monotonous, but monotony usually comes in the second week. Everything is delicious. Grilled: fish, shrimp meat, and whatever you bring. Tiger prawns - tired, lobsters tired. At the end of the holiday we ate vermicelli! Friday - Cuban day: a pig on the beach, lobsters in a restaurant.

Our favorite waiter was Reynaldo, a tall Cuban of about 45 years old: everything is clear, good memory, tips are not a pity (usually 1 cookie / person).
We celebrated the wedding anniversary with people from Canada, we didn’t order anything special, but the guys warned Reinaldo: it was aerobatics: cake, candles, tequila, lobster ...
Drinks - everything under 12 years old - seems to have everything. Cocktails - every bartender, every region of Cuba - different cocktails, but bartenders are easy to learn, and of course cookies will help you teach. Orders to the room - free of charge, tips for the delivery man are welcome. Several restaurants - all delicious. Animation - in principle, good. Plays live music.
There is a spa - tried massages - liked it.
Ocean fairy tale. Nearby there is a lake / swamp - it stinks near it, because frozen water, but it is not necessary to go there.
On the beach there are catamarans, boats - everything without gasoline is free, only a tip.
We went from the beach to the elite part for champagne (it was so crazy from abundance) on a catamaran they gave 3 cookies - the sailor was very pleased.
Cons (well, where without them, joke): mosquitoes, crabs on the territory. Crabs really exist and crawl around the territory at night - you have to look under your feet!

Outside the hotel - for an amateur! Devastation + corn + communism - so you need to be ready for this. Trips on excursions - take only individuals, it will be more expensive, but you will be given a ride so you will never forget, they will show and tell you everything.

If you have extra things (clean), shoes, electronics, chewing gum - give to Cubans: cleaners and gardeners - they will be your best friends!

The contingent of the hotel is mostly Canadians, including Russian speakers. We have not seen Ukraine and Russia.

Currency: it is better to take the euro, because the dollar has a draconian rate. There is an exchanger in the hotel, not only at the reception. At the reception, the rate is worse. Change money purely for tips.
From the beginning of papers to papers, then papers to coins.

Who will be at the hotel and find Reinoldo greetings from Vlad and Ira from Ukraine, Sasha, Yura from Canada!
