Good day dear tourist! I decided to share my impressions of my vacation in Cuba. Well, to begin with, I had a flight from St. Petersburg to Paris (flight 3.5 hours), the flight connection was 4.5 hours, and then 9.5 hours Paris - Havana. Upon arrival in Havana, (I thought it was sad only in Egypt - I was mistaken) we waited for baggage claim for almost 3 hours in a very stuffy luggage compartment, everyone got out of there wet as mice. I started looking for a representative of the TEZ TOUR, cut a few circles - no! I approached the representative of Korel, asked if the representative of my tour operator had run through here. The girl called the meeting person, he reassured me that my representative was ill and could not meet me, but he kindly agreed to take me to the minibus, which was supposed to take me to the hotel.

The minibus was breathing hard, the radio was screaming at the top of its lungs - there was a football match and our driver was a football fan, They started asking him to turn it down, he pretends that he doesn’t understand Russian, he doesn’t understand English, speak Spanish! Moreover, the air conditioner works to its fullest, and given what I described above - they came out of the luggage compartment all wet and spoil their vacation, which did not start - well, I didn’t want to. It turned out that the air conditioner was unregulated. So we went from Havana to Varadero. In the middle of the way, the whole football match got to us, they began to speak out to the driver, and then he shocked everyone - he stopped at a roadside cafe where a plasma was hanging, he sat down nicely near it and watched the match on TV for half an hour (the travel time from Havana to Varadero without the stop is 2.5 hours, well, add time to watch the match! With grief in half at three o'clock in the morning we got to the hotel. Settled on the ground floor room 1013.

The room is quite normal, complaints about both the room itself and the service are quite tolerable. The food in the restaurant is very, very good. Salting is still the same, daily shrimp, squid, mussels. Whatever meat you want - lamb, pork, beef. Enough seafood! Cheeses of different types and sausages, a huge selection of confectionery. So food can be rated with the highest score. After checking in (well, as well as upon arrival), the representatives of TEZ TOUR simply forgot about my existence, I had to rush into the wanted list, and on the third day of my stay, he appeared. He didn’t say anything good, handed me a list of excursions and that’s it! Prices for excursions are approximately all almost the same price of 150 euros. But if you find your compatriots - 3-4 people and agree with a private Russian-speaking guide with your car (I had a 1956 Ford), then the entire amount will be divided among all of you.

So I agreed with a married couple from Moscow, fell on their tail, and they found a guide and the total price of the tour was 140 euros, you can divide it into three and here's a ridiculous amount for the tour! We took the tour from the hotel at 8 am, at 11 o'clock we were in Havana, more on excursions we went on foot, but it was worth it until 17 o'clock - the legs no longer moved, but it was SUPER! and at 19 o'clock we were already at the hotel. When I was planning a trip, I looked through it so as not to get into the rainy season - the hot season is December to April. But it wasn’t here this year, even the locals were surprised: I had 22 days of travel and 5 days of them were sunny. There was incredible humidity, then a storm, then a downpour, then just a drizzle. One morning I stood on the sand on the beach, noticed some burning sensation on my legs, I thought the sand - I brushed it off, and there were blood streaks - it turned out that a Caribbean sand flea appeared and bit my legs. After a couple of hours, my legs were covered with hives, itching, burning.

Has addressed to the doctor. She looked, gave an injection and wrote out an invoice for this joy in the amount of 96 euros. I began to resent that I had insurance, so that they would phone my insurance company and they would reimburse the costs. But this was refused to me - call yourself from your phone (!! ! ). I got through to the representative of the insurance company, he apologized and said that I would pay there, and upon arrival, they would return the money to me (is it okay if I didn’t have money? ) The hotel itself is not bad, but I called it "Pension named after Voroshilov" - do not believe that in this hotel family and youth holidays are the rest of German pensioners who are over 70. Behind them is a sand path, and they are still there. Brazen, barking, everywhere they feel like the navel of the universe. So they are met with a buffet table with champagne, to the songs and dances of the animators, they are also escorted.

When they enter the restaurant (and they always go first, they are very hungry), the restaurant staff in the line greets them with applause. In a word, disgusting! The animators work so-so - they will turn on their Cuban songs, which seem to be in the same way and that's it. But for that, every evening there is a dance performance - local folklore from a song is sung by soloists of some kind of collective farm! But after dinner in the hall, every day there is a live performance: the local male ensemble - a jazz band, a classical music ensemble - is generally superb, a singer with an inimitable voice comes in, the guys blow - piano and saxophone. But everything and rest comes to an end. The day of departure arrived. We were picked up from the hotel and taken to Havana airport. And the circus began. As you enter the airport hall, you see one huge queue with a dozen check-in counters for different flights in the next 4 hours. INCREDIBLE SHADOW, Because of this, the plane was delayed for 2 hours.

And the time for a connecting flight, if it was 4.5 hours to Havana from Paris, then the flight connection in Paris to St. Petersburg is one hour and 20 minutes. Well, as you may have guessed, I didn’t have time for the connecting flight, I ask the representatives of Airfrance to give me my luggage. To which they replied that it was difficult to find him now, but you shouldn’t worry - the luggage would be sent to St. Petersburg the next day, and they sent me through Moscow to St. Petersburg. I did not receive my luggage the next day or the following days. He arrived on the fourth day. And it turned out that he needed customs clearance and for every kilogram of weight (and my bag weighed 17.5 kg) you need to pay 7 euros plus commission fees! If the medical insurance company returned the money to me, but the luggage was not an insured event!

There are no representatives of Airfrance in St. Petersburg, and the contact phone number of the representative office in Moscow only says that to get one information you need to press one key, for another another, and so on for about 15 minutes. . . , after pressing the phone turns off! So not only is the ticket itself not cheap, but you also need to rob the tourist like a sticky. So you better think about it _ do you need problems with a trip to Cuba?
