The hotel itself is a two-story building. On the first floor there is a cafe, on the second floor there are rooms and a small pool. Everything is very tired, I won’t say that it’s completely dead, but the venerable age of this institution is visible to the naked eye.
The rooms are nothing superfluous, poor thing, but clean. Cleaned up well. Please note that a refrigerator and air conditioning are available for a fee (three euros per day). Take a fumigator, there are mosquitoes.
I can’t say anything about the staff, we only saw him during meals ...(we took HB). Everyone was polite, the food was brought quickly, there were no conflict situations.
Feed 2 times a day. There is no buffet - everything is a la carte. Breakfast is the same, dinner is different. No culinary delights, but we had enough (including lunch snacks in the city).

The main and concurrently the only advantage of this hotel is its convenient location - in the very center of Ayia Napa, a stone's throw from the bus stop and in the epicenter of events)))
I really liked that you can easily and comfortably travel around the island by bus.
By bus you can quickly get to the nearest beaches (Nissi, Makronisas, Konas, Fig tree) and Cape Greco. The bus costs 1.5 euros, it runs often.
There is a tourist information center next to the hotel. There you can get maps and guides in Russian for free.
Of the cafes, I can note Ocean Basket. Everything is delicious and fresh, especially the grilled mussels and squids. Well, there are enough cafes, there are plenty to choose from)))
Findings:
For Cyprus:
It is definitely worth flying to Cyprus (to Ayia Napa)!
- cool beaches
- great seafood
- the weather in October is gorgeous (although maybe we were just lucky)
- Easy to get around by public transport.
By hotel:
Cornelia is definitely a budget hotel.
- minimum amenities
- very poor food
- no infrastructure
- BUT! As for me, the location (in the center) and low cost (it cost us 700 euros for 12 nights for two) more than cover all the shortcomings.

Cornelia is definitely not suitable for a respectable public and couples with small children, but for unspontaneous youth - the most tsimes))
P. S. In fairness, I note that on the eighth day of our vacation, one of the guests had a conflict with the hotel administration. Graters began due to the fact that his (guest) little son seemed to be bitten by bedbugs. As a result, they were either relocated or moved out themselves. No one bit us in 12 days, but then again, maybe just lucky.
