We rested with a friend at the Margadina Hotel for 14 days, and I consider my vacation a success!
We were in Cyprus for the first time, the hotel was chosen based on reviews. The check-in went without any incidents, and when asked in which building they gave us a room, we were told that the hotel had one building - the main one. Although we also saw the building across the road, I don’t know on what basis they settle there. Our room was overlooking the island, but even from our balcony you could see the sea. The room is spacious, clean, bathroom with all amenities, balcony, TV (RTR channel Planet).
The food is very good. For breakfast, assorted corn flakes with milk, scrambled eggs with bacon and beans, toast, fruit - very tasty. For dinner, three types of meat (chicken, pork) either in steaks or cutlets, a side dish to choose from, fresh vegetables, snacks. Fed with watermelon. I was in Egypt, and so, there I could only eat breakfast, despite the fact that we had a 5 * hotel. Here I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. And to the attention of the attendants. As soon as the cook noticed that someone did not have enough watermelon, the next day the watermelons were transported by carts.

Very nice pool, there were enough free sun loungers at any time of the day, pool bar, drinks from 2 to 4 euros for a cocktail.
The road to the beach is through a dried field, but this did not upset us at all, we walked along the beaten track. Every day we swam in this fresh sea, at the end of the vacation, however, it began to worry and mud surfaced during the day, but it was only near the coast, further into the sea the water is crystal clear and azure.
We went on an excursion "In the footsteps of Aphrodite", bought from a travel company for 65 euros (I just wanted to ride in a comfortable bus with a Russian guide). Do not believe those who say that all excursions are squeezed out of your finger. We got so many impressions that day - we swam in the birthplace of Aphrodite, visited the Temple of Aphrodite (of course, little is left of it, but this is not the main thing), then - the bath of Aphrodite, where we took water from the source to wash ourselves and get younger every day ))) Delicious seafood lunch in a tavern on the Mediterranean coast and a visit to a private winery. Isn't that a memory? what fabulous photos!
Still, we would go on a sea cruise along Cape Greco - for only 5 euros against those offered by the travel agency !! ! Tickets were bought directly at the pier. Cruise ads are everywhere! And impressions - the SEA! We swam in the Blue Lagoon, sailed past the pirate grottoes, duration 4 hours.
Souvenir shops at every turn, they themselves bought fruits in the room, wine - no one forbade them to bring it.
One omission - due to the fact that every day was oversaturated with impressions, by the evening we fell down, every day we were going to go to the club, and every time we woke up) Next time we will definitely catch up!
