We rested in late May - early June 2008 with my husband.
We chose a hotel for a long time, looked through all the reviews on Cyprus, got what we expected, the rest was a success!
The hotel itself is 5, the area is the best in Ayia Napa, the beach is definitely just gorgeous! Pelicans did not bother anyone, lawns - lush greenery, stone paths. This hotel is chosen for weddings by the British, the pictures really turn out amazing.
Rooms: we booked for two with a sea view, upon arrival our room was occupied, we were settled in a bungalow overlooking a small piece of the sea. The room is spacious, large bathroom, everything you need is there. Clean, great plumbing. We took breakfast, but given that we did not immediately get into our room (although we were temporarily given a more expensive one), we received vouchers for 2 dinners as compensation. I’ll make a reservation right away, having appreciated the dinner at the hotel and in local taverns, we were right that we took BB.

After 2 days, we moved to our legal 2-bed room in the main building on the penultimate floor - the sea view is excellent, the room itself is smaller, a small balcony - 2 chairs and a table, there were no complaints about cleaning. But they did not always replenish the stocks of "shampoo - gels", for me this was not a problem, since I still bring my own. Towels and bedding changed daily. Mini bar was not used. There were also glasses in the room, a tea and coffee set - for me this is a plus.
Meals for breakfast - a continental breakfast, hearty, a large selection, a lot of fruits, although, of course, it is monotonous, but do your breakfasts really differ at home? You can always take cakes and fruits with you without any problems.
Lunches - you can in numerous bars in the hotel (tried - everything is edible, portions are large), but often managed with sandwiches with alcohol) in the room)), buying everything in nearby supermarkets. Since they took the car, sometimes lunches coincided with dinners. In general, food is not a problem in Cyprus. All for normal money, huge portions, there is a menu in Russian, many Russian speakers. In almost every cafe - restaurant there was a children's menu.
Shopping in Ayia Napa did not work out (we rested only 7 days), it seemed to me that in Limassol one could have fun.
We drove around the island by car (Nissan Micra), the roads are excellent, signs are everywhere, there were no problems with traffic. Although the steering wheel is on the other side, but having traveled not far, they quickly adapted and the very next day they rushed to the birthplace of Aphrodite, to Lefkara, to the mountains, small villages - great. I will say that I will definitely return to Cyprus, and it is to Nissi Beach (even this year we really wanted to bring our daughter, but we chose Greece, because we were not there)!
If you have any questions, I will definitely answer, write.
