Firstly, the location of Nissi wins over Adams, since Nissi is further from the road, in front of the hotel there is a garden and immediately the sea. There are a lot of people on Adams Beach, like an anthill, and a very shallow beach. If you want to listen to a DJ and attend a foam party on Adams Beach, then it's not far at all - 100 meters . .
We flew back and forth on Cypriot planes. The Russian language ended at Sheremetyevo, but alcoholic drinks immediately appeared. (We, as true Russian tourists, took a couple of small bottles of red wine with us to the hotel =) ). Arrived in Larnaca at 19-30. At this time it is already getting dark. While driving to Ai-Napa, the guide told us about sights and excursions (more on them below).
They met us perfectly, that day Natalya was at the reception, who explained everything to us in Russian... We were taken to the room and we also managed to go to dinner... The only negative is that we flew from Moscow, and usually in this case, tourists arrive in the evening, and fly away early in the morning... Due to which 2 days are lost . . The second minus is that our tour was 11 days long ! ! To those who say that 14 days is a lot, I will say the opposite!! ! No more cons!!
We took HB food, it was more than enough for me... My husband sometimes really ate fruit during the day =) We changed dinner for lunch (but it’s hard for me personally to eat such a variety and in such heat. But I recommend going once, because the tavern is located in a great place ! ! ), and for dinner we went to a tavern - we ate local meze (if you are in Cyprus, be sure to try it. The locals recommended us the NAPA TAVERN, which is located in the center, but we never got to it and ate it in the port for 24 euro (portion is designed for two, but they sell at least 2 servings at once. Therefore, it is better to go with a company. ) We really liked the food: a large selection at breakfast, and a varied cuisine for dinner. Every time for breakfast and lunch, I left the restaurant and said: "Everything can not be eaten like this anymore! ". As for cocktails, I can say that we tried a wide variety both on the territory of the hotel and in the city. In the hotel they cost 5.5 euros, outside the hotel (Nearest bar, opposite hotel, across the road) from 2 euros. sleepier than in the hotel we did not find!!
We had a SV room on the second floor, (the first floor is “0” where the reception, restaurant, bar, etc. is located). It was possible to change the room to the 3rd or 4th floor - this is done on Sundays... But we were quite satisfied with this view ! If you took a view of the garden or no view, then you have the opportunity to pay extra 12 euros per day for the beauty that is worth it!!
Our rooms were cleaned every day. All towels and bed linen were changed. If you do not want your linen to be changed every day, then there is a special one for this. a sign to put on the bed before cleaning. Which we did after a couple of days.
Breakfast starts at 7:30. We went to 8-00, then immediately into the cool sea. The sea has always been clean, transparent and warm. On the beach, only umbrellas will be free for you. We came with towels that can be changed several times a day if you want, sunbathed on towels on the beach several times, and then began to go to the pool, where there are free sun loungers and umbrellas.
Dinner starts from 19-00 to 22-00. The pool is closed at 19-00, at the beginning of the seventh there is usually almost no one there.
Now for the excursions. We flew with a parachute (55 euros for two), it's great! ! There are several couples in the boat up to 5 at once. While someone is flying, you enjoy the view of the coast and the sea breeze. Sell them on the beach closer to Adams Beach.
And we also went to the singing fountains (We bought the tour in a shop (I would say in a stall =)) opposite the hotel for 20 euros. We took without dinner (plus 5 euros), and did not regret it. We drank cocktails during the show. And those who took dinner did not have time to eat it, because it is dark and I want to watch the show, and not on a plate).
Also sailed on a sea cruise on the ship Aphrodite. The tour was booked there. We got to the port by bus for 1 euro. But you can also walk for 30 minutes. Bought for 25 euros each (this is the price with lunch), swam 5 hours. The city of Famagusta impressed me the most. For comparison, the price from the guide or at the hotel is from 70 euros. I recommend this tour to everyone! ! You will be shown all the local attractions on the water, there will be 2 stops - in the blue lagoon and the bay. Don't forget your sunscreen, water and camera!
We also went to the water park. This tour is better to buy from the guide. The price is 32 euros. You will be taken and brought, go yourself - the price will be the same. But I don’t know what time it is, we went there right after breakfast and left the water park a minute before it closed. We rode all the hills there. Starting from Kamikaze (there are 2 of them, they are scary, but cool! ), ending with a lazy river. We dined in the park. And they also walked back. We took a safe for 5 euros to leave all things and a camera.
There is a local excursion - "Riding on donkeys", but we felt sorry for the donkeys and we did not attend this entertainment.
In the evening we went to the center, to bars and club streets. You can take a taxi for 7-8 euros. This is not to be missed! ! We were on the club street at night once, much to our regret!!
And also on “our day” we had a photo session with a Russian photographer for 4 hours. He took us to all the sights of the island.
