We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2012. I want to note this hotel with its advantageous location. The hotel is located on the first coastline with its own beach, but the entrance to the sea is rocky. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach for 2.5 euros (everything costs 7.5 euros), but near the pool it's free. But we hardly rested on this beach, but walked for 5-7 minutes along the sea (to the left) to the city beach with beautiful sand and an entrance to the sea without stones. If you are suddenly bitten by a jellyfish (which happened to me), then you can safely apply for a special ointment to a restaurant on the beach where you take sunbeds. Prices for sunbeds and umbrellas are the same, 2.5 euros each, but you can also find a sunbed and an umbrella for free for 2 euros (near the lifeguard tower). There is no animation in the hotel, entertain yourself, but maybe this is a plus, since the city is generous for entertainment. Souvenir shops, restaurants, discos, karaoke bars at every step. And you can also take the 101 (102) bus and go to Paphos (1 euro one way, but after 11 - 2.5 euros) to the show of singing fans (23 euros) - the beauty and spectacle of this show is impressive, I advise you to take the last rows of tables and enjoy dinner and shows (buffet dinner). On the second day, we found a store for locals (located to the right of McDonald's) where all goods are not at tourist prices. I advise you to buy souvenirs in this store (approximately 1 euro cheaper than in souvenir shops for tourists), wine (from 3 euros), olive oil (1 liter -6 euros), etc. I also want to tell you about boat trips, to which barkers on the pier will invite you. We took ourselves a 1.5 hour walk for 4 or 5 euros (as agreed) per person (then the captain gave out invitations for a second walk for 2 euros). Walk - a good combination of price-expected result, a stop in a beautiful bay where you will have the opportunity to swim. They also offer a ride on a pirate ship Black Pearl (with a disco + lunch) 4 hours for 40 euros, if you endure the heat in the very sun, then you can take a chance. Or on the "fastest" Gelaksi boat for 40 euros and they will tell you that you will see dolphins and sea turtles (they just arrived : )) and you can take a picture with them, but we heard how people later after the walk asked where are the turtles and dolphins?? ? : ) A little more about the hotel: we lived in a two-story building on the 2nd floor in room 707 (overlooking the sea, on the right side - overlooking the squash field : ) we will attribute everything to the local color), the room is spacious with air conditioning, complaints about no room, excellent service, towels changed every day, room cleaning 2 times a week, there is air conditioning, but take shampoos and shower gels and other things with you because there are only 2 small bars of soap in the room, the staff is friendly, speaking Russian or understanding Russian. Food: monotonous food, especially for breakfast, eggs in any form, scrambled eggs with vegetables, cheese (delicious), sausage and sausages (not recommended), coffee (soluble, I recommend only with milk), cereal, toast, sweets - jelly, pies, fruit - only oranges. . . but a lot. . . maybe instead of fresh. . . especially in the morning : )); dinners - chicken, lamb (delicious). pork, potatoes, pasta, vegetable salads (I recommend with cheese) with seafood were given only once and there was no seafood at all : (. But you can try a variety of seafood in restaurants. For example, we tried fish meze for 24 euros from Persian 2 persons) in a restaurant on the pier itself (Vasos seems to be called with such beautiful white beacons), but you can buy cheaper from 12 euros, it will differ in the number of dishes and the presence of frozen foods (read the menu carefully, if it is *, that is, frozen foods). we decided not to save on impressions. . . and for 3 hours with a bottle of white wine we ate crabs, tiger prawns, a variety of fish, a salad with olive oil, and asked to replace potatoes with rice. In general, in restaurants you can eat on average from 8-12 euros , local beer KEO or Leo for 3 euros, and in supermarkets for 1.2-1.7 euros, but German beer, oddly enough, for 0.9 euros. In general, a good beach holiday, recommended I blow for families with children, but young people will not be bored either, since you can hang out in clubs at least every day.
