At the same time, for the first time in their lives, they did not leave a tip - they decided to experiment how they would clean without a tip. Cleaned up great and fast. Even my conscience tormented me that they didn’t give a tip, but a friend said that I was very generous, she never leaves, she’s goofy and didn’t let me “discourage” the staff. Honestly, I should have left. Didn't use the air conditioner, fridge and safe too. No one rummaged through things and everything was always in place. There is a kettle in the room, bags of coffee, tea, liquid cream are replenished every day. Water was bought in large bottles in a supermarket opposite the hotel, near the road - 5 minutes to go.
The staff is very polite, friendly. If you have any questions, they explain everything and help everyone. The food is good for a trio. Of course, not a hundred dishes like in expensive fives, but there was always something to choose from, everything was fresh and every time something new was prepared for dinner. If we wanted something "such", we went to the store and bought it. Took half board - more than enough. For lunch, we went to seafood taverns or bought dry wine and fruits, and lunch smoothly turned into dinner : ), but it was high. Juices at breakfast and jelly at dinner were powdered - do not take. Everywhere they make fresh juices in taverns, and juices are better in packages. On the Turkish territory of the island (Famagusta, Kyrenia), freshly squeezed juices are sold everywhere at the price of half a liter - 2.50 euros. Here, all prices in cafes are cheaper than on the Greek side. Try pomegranate - delicious and natural! Champagne is served for breakfast 3 times a week. Sun loungers near the hotel - free of charge. 1 r only during the day under a canopy we slept.
We went to the sea to the lagoon, which is near the hotel - 3 minutes to go. Sunbeds and umbrellas - 2.50 per day or you can bring your own towels and beach mats for free. Beach towels at the hotel are issued on bail, but we had our own. Adapters are also bail or buy in any supermarket (opposite the hotel) - it will come in handy on some other trip. The hotel does not have a special territory. The sea is shallow, then you have to swim for a few meters and again shallow, and then after a few meters the depth begins again. Lots of kids in the lagoon. The hotel has a special chairs for babies for feeding, cereals, milk, something else - I didn’t look much. During the day in October it was 27 (it felt like 30 in the sun), in the evening 21-24 sometimes. A very comfortable temperature for relaxation - you do not languish from the heat, but not cold either. Sea - 24, warmer in the afternoon.
In the evening, when the sun sets, a chill appears and if you get out of the water, you must immediately wipe your skin with a towel, because it seems that it is fresh in the breeze. The only thing I didn't like was the wasteland in front of the hotel. But as I understand it, they are not allowed to occupy it without permission, for example, to set up a garden or make lawns there. It's a pity, there would be a wonderful garden near the hotel. Excursions were taken at the street agency Attica - prices are 2 r less than the hotel guide + a couple of euros discount due to the approach of the season to the end.
The hotel is very good for a troika. There is no noise, but at the same time everything is nearby and if there is a desire to get to nightlife - a taxi or 20-30 minutes as a walk.
We tried the local famous Commandaria wine - similar to our Cahors, but even sweeter and more honeyed. For an amateur. We bought dry, bottled is better, although once we took a Tetropack in a bag - better than ours and brut champagne.

Just got back from this hotel today. Cyprus is amazing, can not be compared with either Egypt or Turkey!! ! There is a supermarket next to the hotel. to the central street of nissi avenue and bus stop - 3 min. past the tasia maris hotel. quiet, calm, a couple of stops to the center or a walk. to walk in the dark along the shortest route to the hotel, you can take a flashlight, there the path is not paved everywhere. be sure to visit the show of dancing fountains in protaras, the kykkos monastery, the baths of aphrodite and take care of tickets in advance for the Black Pearl pirate ship - with costumed entertainment for children and adults, swimming in azure waters. . . Excursions are better to buy in the center - half the price! to the ship - right on the pier. there is a jacuzzi and a shower near the pool, where you can sunbathe on sunbeds for free, because the hotel is almost on the beach itself. if you wish, you can change the system of 2 meals to all inclusive for 26 euros per day, but we think that this would be overkill. buses run around the clock, but pay attention to the price table for tickets near the driver: until 23h. 1.50 euros, later 2.50, at night and in the morning 5.00. . have a good rest and unforgettable impressions!
