I would like to focus on the topic of car rental, because. only this aspect saddened and spoiled the vacation... In the Protaras region, on the square near the "PIZZA HUT" there is an office called "PLATON", the owner there is a muddy type of civilian appearance nervously sorting out the rosary (not local for sure). They attract tourists with low prices compared to other rentals, and this is where the problems begin. You are invited to either leave 100 euros as a deposit, or a passport... They do not have full insurance (the so-called deductible)... I. e. you will pay for all minor breakdowns, scratches, dents yourself))))))))) And believe me, if they didn’t even exist at first, they will miraculously provide them later))))))))) I won’t tell you how it is with us they extorted money (it’s just disgusting to even remember), but I want to warn you that if you don’t want to part with the money, take pictures of the car from the wheels to the roof, but it’s better to immediately go to another car rental office, where they may charge you a little more, but they will provide at least full insurance and you will save your nerves and good mood about your vacation....Good luck !!!! !
