Spring 2018 The hotel has been refurbished so most of the information in earlier reviews is no longer up to date. The plumbing is new, there are no puddles in the bathroom, the furniture is new modern, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable, our room on the 2nd floor was at the level of the Turkish "5" (the only difference is the absence of a refrigerator, which can be taken for 2 euros per day (but we didn’t need) and water in the room, but you can take water from the cooler on the 1st floor), and bed linen is even better. True, sometimes there was a specific smell in the bathroom, but I observed the same smell in some "5" hotels.
We took the adapter for the outlet from the TV (since we didn’t watch it, we didn’t have time for it), we completely managed one. If you need more, you can buy at any store. Rooms are cleaned every day, linen and towels are changed every 3 days according to the schedule. We did not see any insects, however, we took out the food garbage immediately from the room ourselves.
We only took breakfast, there was not much variety, we asked the neighbors - they were very pleased with the dinner - delicious, varied, first + second, vegetables and fruits.

A big plus of the hotel is the Russian-speaking and very responsive administrators, especially Olga, who will answer any question. You can also take a booklet from the Cypriot tour desk from her, prices are much lower than those of a hotel guide and a large selection. By the way, everyone who visited the donkey farm was delighted!
In general, after reading the reviews on many sites, we were prepared for the worst, but it turned out that it was a very decent hotel and, on occasion, I would gladly stay there. I think it’s worth taking a few clothespins with you (if the wind rises, it can throw something drying off the balcony) and a soap dish or a small shelf with suction cups, since there is no shelf in the shower (as in most 5-star hotels).
Yes, it takes 6-7 minutes to walk to the nearest beach. And after checking out at 12.00, we spent another day in Larnaca very comfortably (there was an evening flight), we had a lobby with Wi-Fi, a locker room, a toilet, a shower, drinking water, a swimming pool and the hospitality of the staff. Rest in the "Cactus" liked!
