Apparently the owner of the hotel is a very greedy person.

Holidays at the Lordos Beach hotel left a double impression. The hotel is positioned as a quiet place for families. We rested with our family (wife, son - 13 years old) from 12.06. 08 to 23.06. 08. Of the eleven nights at the hotel, we did not sleep five: two weddings until four in the morning and three corporate drinking parties until three in the morning. All this happens in the hotel restaurants on Fridays and Saturdays (we were lucky - on Monday, 16.06. 08, the Cypriots had a holiday, so one of the corporate parties was also on Sunday, 15.06. 08). We stayed in a room overlooking the sea, the view is wonderful. But when at night the music rumbles under you at full volume and about seventy people stomp their feet on the dance floor, somehow it’s not up to beauty (all rooms with sea views are located directly above the restaurants). They tried to close the balcony, but it was of little use. I tried arguing with managers at night: they listen, they say that this is the first time, that this will not happen again. At first I believed them, then I realized that they were just lying (service at the hotel is generally a separate story). I was surprised that the neighbors, it seems Scandinavians, after several nights of lack of sleep, begged to be transferred from a room with a frontal view of the sea and the garden to a quieter room closer to the road (the difference in money, by the way, is quite significant). By the way, staying in a room with a side sea view (on the one hand, a view of the neighboring hotel, on the other hand, a view of the construction site) is not a solution to the problem of a relaxing holiday. So, another couple of elderly Englishmen asked to be transferred from a room with a side sea view, which was located above the open area at the bar. All themed musical evenings are now held daily there, and not in the restaurant's closed premises. They complained that because of the loud music, they couldn't sleep until 1:00 a. m. daily. They asked to speak with the manager of the hotel (by the way, I also tried, but to no avail). The British came to this hotel for the eighth time and said that nothing like this had ever happened before. The most surprising thing (I thought that if people come here for the eighth time, they should bow at the feet) that they were refused. I am not picky about food, but my wife and son found the food to be very poor. If we compare, for example, with Spain (Estival Park), then the variety loses more than twice. I was surprised by the meager selection of fruits: if the watermelons on the dish are over, then you need to wait forty minutes when they bring out a new dish, there weren’t even apples for three or four days (we didn’t see pears at all), melon, peaches are sour and tasteless. The sea in Cyprus is amazing, against which the dirty and unkempt beach of the hotel makes a not very pleasant impression. On excursions we met with compatriots who had a rest in other hotels, talked about our hardships. People sympathized and said that they had nothing like this
