Went on holiday with two kids. 5 and 13 years old. The advantages of the hotel began to be felt almost 30 minutes after the plane landed: the trip to it was not at all long. Quite a large area with swimming pools for every taste and an abundance of greenery. Children's playground in the shadow of the "castle" on the street, games room and water slide. On arrival we were immediately seated in the room. Modern electronic keys. Very decent rooms, clean, everything is in excellent condition (Family Room with a two-story children's bed). Air conditioning, hairdryer, plasma TV, coffee table with two chairs. Glass wall with a door to the balcony. Very thick double curtains, the night can be arranged at any time of the day. On the balcony there is a viewing window for children and a safety horizontal bar along the top of the partition. At the reception, without problems and money, we received an adapter and an electric kettle for use (showing a bag of coffee))). Cleaning in the rooms daily, with washing the balcony glass wall)). We had breakfast + lunch + dinner. They fed very well! Variety of salads, meats and desserts. Of the fruits, melon, watermelon, plum, citrus and... did not understand what kind of fruit). For breakfast, drinks are offered: juices, coffee, hot chocolate, milk. During lunch and dinner, drinks are charged. Mineral water, wine, beer, milkshakes, fresh juices, but you can not order. It is customary to come to dinner “beautiful”) - they will not let you in slates and shorts. And this is another reason to wear an evening dress. Every evening there is live music on the terrace in front of the restaurant. Just below our balcony. Noise isolation was quite satisfactory. The hotel is also popular among the locals: 4 weddings were held on its territory in a week! They do not interfere with the hotel guests at all: they talked, had dinner and dispersed. There are several restaurants, so there is enough space for everyone. The sand is leveled daily on the beach and the order is maintained throughout the day: scattered garbage is collected, sunbeds are put in order. Beach towels are free, sunbeds and mattresses are free both at the pools and on the beach. Towels received in the morning, handed over in the evening - no need to dry, very convenient. The seabed is sand. There are some pebbles (or is it some kind of small shell rock) at the water's edge, there is not much of it at all. Breakwaters are located along the entire coast. Like some kind of artificial bays. It is interesting that the vacationers are mostly Russian, and two girls from the reception and a waitress in the restaurant speak the language for the whole hotel. By the way, it was not a big problem - they explained "in sign language")). Very friendly staff, they really took care of our needs. You show a children's T-shirt with a stain of juice - they take you to the laundry. The hotel is ideal for families with children. Therefore, there are many of those among vacationers.
Now about the surroundings: across the road there are several supermarkets with souvenirs, clothes, shoes, jewelry, products. The prices are acceptable. It is not easy to wait for public transport, so the mode of transportation is taxi. You can, of course, rent a car, but... the traffic is on the left - it is difficult to quickly change lanes to drive in the oncoming lane. In Protaros visited the Oceanarium, DO NOT SPEND MONEY! Tickets are cheap, expensive taxi takes off. There is nothing to look at: four crocodiles, turtles (one species), parrots, a flock of penguins behind glass and aquariums with fish... not even marine, mostly cichlids (my husband keeps them in an aquarium at home). From a standing boat trip on a high-speed yacht with a transparent bottom "Sea Safari" and AQUAPARK in Ayia Napa, visit a MUST!! !
