My wife and I went to Cyprus for the first time, the travel agency asked for the best hotel so that you could swim and good service - they handed this one, and for a round sum, the hotel is very expensive. We arrived, settled in some extreme room, although they paid a tidy sum for a sea view. But this was only the beginning, for some reason the air conditioner did not work and water methodically poured from it. They asked to repair - no response, although the water continued to pour from it and fill the room. Okay, spat, let's go to dinner. We decided to have dinner at some fancy restaurant. We went in, made an order, took a bottle of dry Cypriot wine. Wait, only 2 tables are occupied. We are waiting for half an hour, no snacks, nothing is brought. Ask the waiter to bring a snack. We are waiting for an hour - other people have already come up, they are served normally, they are already having dinner. We are waiting, we have already drunk the wine, so we want to eat even more. We call the waiter - we ask you to hurry up and bring something, we order another bottle of wine from frustration. 2 hours passed - the second bottle was drunk, nothing was brought. We start arguing with the waiter, call the restaurant manager, the manager comes and mockingly declares whether to bring us another bottle of wine. The mood is completely ruined. As a result, they still bring us an order, but we feel humiliated and insulted. But these are still flowers - we return to the room, stuffiness, the air conditioner continues to flow (although it is turned off). Okay - we go to bed and then, oops, there is a terrible rumble in the room. We can’t sleep, we call the reception - what’s the matter, they come in an hour. It turns out that in our room for some reason there is a corridor air conditioner unit. That is, it works and buzzes in our room, and cools the entire corridor of the hotel. Again they had a fight, somehow slept. In the morning they moved to the reception - they began to ask to change the room, with a surcharge or whatever. They look contemptuously, answer: there are no rooms available. They quarreled, spat, went to the sea. There is a separate conversation about the sea - on the first day they swam - the sea is endlessly dirty, there is no beach. Well, let's go for a swim in the morning - the sea is dirty as usual, but that's nothing, the sea just floats g... in huge numbers. This overflowed the cup of our patience - we went to the reception, they said that we were moving out of this hotel. We were immediately told - it's your business, but we'll charge you for another 3 days of stay % -0 But we were so tired of the surrounding rudeness and all this lawlessness that we said do what you want and call us a taxi. We left for Larnaca - Golden Bay and did not regret it, it turned out to be a wonderful hotel. If you want to spoil your vacation, serve as an object for rudeness, overcome everyday difficulties, swim in the city, then you are in Amathus Beach, (Limassol).
P. S. During the check-out - suddenly there were free rooms right away, the hotel manager tried to persuade us to stay, offered a suite at no extra charge, but we left and did not regret a single gram.
