Hotel ratings by criteria:
When choosing a hotel, or even not a hotel, but a place of residence, I was guided by two requirements: the spaciousness of the dwelling and the opportunity to cook breakfast, since the extensive cultural program that our family developed before the trip did not allow spending a lot of time visiting a cafe in the morning.
Anemos fully complies with these requirements: a three-room apartment on the ground floor with a small but equipped kitchen (with a toaster, oven, ceramic electric stove, refrigerator and a set of dishes), new wood-smelling furniture. The living room has a leather sofa and 2 armchairs, coffee and dining tables, 4 chairs and a TV stand. The area of the living room is about 25-27 sq. m and our family of 4 was quite comfortably accommodated there. The bedrooms are small, each with 2 beds and old built-in spacious wardrobes. The shared bathroom always pleased with the availability of hot and cold water in the midst of a critical shortage of fresh water on the island. The loggia is spacious, but with us it was 4 times more spacious than usual, because it merged with the roof of the store located below. Two air conditioners easily provided the average monthly air temperature in St. Petersburg in August (+17), although it was +32 outside both during the day and at night. We didn't notice the service at all. Room cleaning and garbage removal (20 meters to the container) - independently. If you want to change bed linen - your request will be heard by the administrator of the head hotel Golden Arches. The pool is very close, the water is clear and cool, unlike five-star hotels across the road on the beach. To the beach through the territory of the hotel Mediteran 5 minutes walk. At night, hot Cypriot guys drive along the road in all sorts of "clunkers" without silencers, but tightly closed windows and doors, combined with air conditioning, provide relative silence and comfort. We rated the food at the Golden Arches hotel as a "C grade", because we went to taste Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, and there it was mostly traditional, European. We found a way out of the situation in the nearest cozy hospitable taverns, the most inexpensive compared to other regions of Cyprus. The good location of Anemos allowed us to drive around all the cities and sights of the island by car.
