To be honest, August is not the most pleasant month to visit Cyprus. The heat was exasperating, the landscapes were not pleasing to the eye, since the vegetation had dried up at that time, but where it is irrigated - a solid oasis! Very nice green area around the hotel. The only inconvenience was that they had to get to the sea through a tunnel. Coniferous forests in the east of the island are remarkable, the mountainous terrain reminded us of our beloved Ural. We (I, my wife Svetlana and our friend from Moscow Lyubov Yushina) visited places associated with Aphrodite, were in Kykkos, the cities of Cyprus. The water in the sea was so warm that I did not want to go ashore for a long time. Surprised by the sand of the local beach. In some places it is completely black from the presence of... magnetite in it! The hotel has wonderful staff, the restaurant has an abundance of delicious food. I really liked the evening receptions on the hotel terrace. We visited Israel on the Ivory ferry, so we got two in one!
