After checking in, we immediately went down to the bar and asked if we could have something to eat. We were told that there were only drinks in the bar, dinner was over long ago, but they are now organizing sandwiches for us. Literally 10 minutes later they brought us a plate of sandwiches and vegetables. The hotel itself is recently renovated, the rooms are clean, cleaning is good (even without a tip). In the bathroom, shower gel and shampoo were displayed daily according to the number of people living in the room. True, for 3 before departure, the maid stopped doing this, but when I told her that everything was over with us, she immediately made up for everything.
The hotel has almost no territory. A small piece of land behind the hotel (pictured) has umbrellas and sunbeds for hotel guests, so there is no need to pay 2 euros daily on the municipal beach, which is located 1 meter from the hotel. The beach is sandy, the sand is volcanic black, it heats up very strongly by lunchtime, you can’t go to the sea without slippers. The sea is clean, at a distance of 100-200 meters from the shore, breakwaters are made of stones, so there have never been strong waves near the shore. There are a lot of sea urchins on the stones themselves, if you swim, be careful. The pool at the hotel is deep, you can dive, it is closed with a roof for the winter. Breakfast, lunch and lunch at the restaurant on the beach floor, dinner at the main restaurant or in the park. The food is a little monotonous, the choice of dishes is not large (for those who live in memories of Turkey), but it's hard to stay hungry. The meeting with the guide Olga was just "great".

We did not aspire to go there, so interest in us was lost, we never saw her again at the hotel. There are three bars in the hotel, the bar on the beach was closed when we were there, repairs were being completed. Lobby bar from 10 to 24, the bar behind the reception opened in the evening. If there is a change of Bulgarian Boris in the bars, then this is the guard, you can wait half an hour for him to show up behind the counter. Two animators in the hotel, in my opinion, are only needed to wear T-shirts with the inscription "animation".
I have never seen them do something for the children, and in the evening they didn’t really do anything. During our stay, a group of our disabled children came to the hotel, so they had their own animator with them, who organized something all day long.
It is better to take a room with a sea view, but not because of the view. I think that a person who has come to the sea will not sit in the room, and in the evening you still can’t see anything. Just so you get a restful sleep at night. Since the rooms face the road directly from the main entrance, it is very noisy, and at night the local rockers arrange their races. Don't rest normally.
Traffic in Cyprus is right-handed, when crossing streets, look first to the right and then to the left. The first days are hard, then you get used to it.
In general, Cyprus is our foreign Sochi. There are Russian-speaking sellers in stores almost everywhere (most often our former women who married Cypriots at different times), restaurants with menus in Russian and even Russian cuisine.
