About the hotel:
Poseidonia is an ordinary primitive Sovkovskaya hotel, "old rubbish"))) only those who are unpretentious or have never been anywhere can really like it! In the hotel, everything is put on stream, everything is without a soul. Initially, we were given a room overlooking the track, and in the evenings races begin in Limassol, so this room is not an option. To change the room had to pay extra 150 euros (15 euros / day). But we did not regret a bit that we gave this money, because the sea view is gorgeous from the fifth floor of 513.
In the room itself, a hair dryer yellowed from antiquity immediately caught my eye, old furniture from the early 80s, but the bathroom is clean, tidy, towels, gels, shampoos are new every day.
Men are allowed to dine in the restaurant only in trousers. True, it is not clear what is the point in this. the food is FUCKING!!!! ! Just 2 points !!!!! ! Vacationers in our check-in were in solidarity with this))

We had a breakfast-dinner tour and we were very lucky !! ! because there is a small cozy cafe ASOSS opposite, in which we were met by the hospitable Cypriot host Agis.
We really liked the national dishes of Cyprus - moussaka, kleftiko - be sure to try it! Beer Keo-them, local-ordinary, nothing special.
Meze was recommended to us to try in a fishing village, where we went, renting a car. It’s very convenient with a car, we advise EVERYONE! Meze is mountains of fish, snacks, but of course you can’t eat together. Almost all cafes have a menu in Russian.
Walking one evening along the Limassol city park-embankment, we bought an ear of corn toasted in front of us - sooooo delicious!!!

In the first, the Troodos mountains, views, the Kykkos monastery in the mountains, buying souvenirs, wines, tasting with Nicholas. Wonderful national wine "Commandaria" - you can't buy such delicious in the city. Olive oil is excellent. Lots of olive soap, like our laundry soap.
In the second excursion - the sea, splashes of salt water, beautiful views, legends, a fishing farm, swimming in the open sea, a transparent bottom on a yacht, the ghost town of Famagusta - extraordinary!
About the city of Limassol:
Well-groomed places can only be found in the very center, we got the impression that the Cypriots are good lazy people)).
We went to a large shopping center My Mall, which is located outside the city. Prices, as in Moscow, shoes are cheaper. Brands known everywhere (Mango, Alba and many others)
