the city is big and dirty
This is not my first time in Cyprus. Last year we rested in Ayia Napa, this resort is good for young people. I can’t say anything bad about it, only good memories. But Limassol is very different from Ayia Napa. Limassol is a big city with high houses, offices, construction sites. Because of them, the whole city is dug up, it’s impossible to walk along the streets (everywhere there is construction or excavations are underway). The beaches are dirty and very rarely equipped with changing cabins, showers and toilets. We lived in the center of Limassol (Kanika Pantheon Hotel) The hotel is located in the courtyard of residential buildings, where life is in full swing even at night : -(Locals do not care that there is a hotel in their courtyard where people relax. or get a drill at 6.30 in the morning, because it urgently needed something to hang on the balcony. The city is also full of immigrants from Syria, Lebanon, Vietnam and Indonesia. They have their own business here, families. And on Sundays they crowd in large crowds on the streets. On the whole impress Leisure from rest in Limassol remained negative. I would not wish this city to be familiar for recreation.
