We had a family vacation in this hotel from July 20-29.2007. We did not expect anything supernatural from the hotel and actually did not receive it. A hotel for those who want to save money and do not pretend to be super good service. That was our goal as well. We needed the hotel only for an overnight stay and a place to store things. We rented a car and traveled all over the island. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, after dinner at the restaurant and a night swim in the sea.
So:
1. Linen was never changed during our stay, but tell me how often do you change your bed linen at home?
2. towels were changed every day and even in excess. In my opinion this is much more important.

3. air conditioner does not work very well. When you enter the room after the heat of the street, it seems to be in an oasis of coolness, but after an hour it becomes stuffy. The air conditioner control does not work. The hotel apparently has a single temperature regime. The only plus of this approach is that no one caught a cold.
4. food at breakfast is really monotonous, but there are always toasts, butter, tea, coffee and juices. Children have nothing but cereal with milk and monotonous pastries. As for dinner, I won’t say anything - I didn’t.
5. During the sale of the tour, the hotel description indicates that a TV, refrigerator and safe can be taken for an additional fee. Nonsense. They don't have any of that. There is no refrigerator, probably because the hotel protects its interests in this way (so that drinks and food purchased outside the hotel are not stored in it). The owners openly write about this (protection of their interests) in leaflets pasted in elevators. In the same proclamations there is a warning that violators of the ban on bringing food and drinks from outside will be fined 2 Cypriot pounds. In fact, the hotel staff turned a blind eye and we were constantly walking around with packages filled with local goodies. By the way, at the reception, unfortunately, there were not even adapters for sockets. But that's not a problem either. We charged our phones from sockets in the bathroom.
In short, the hotel is of course primitive, but, once again, if you expect excellent service for such money, you are not right in the head. Yes, the proximity to the beach can be attributed to the advantage of the hotel. If you go to the beach bypassing the Apolonia Hotel, located opposite, on the right, you will come to an almost empty beach with fine gray sand and a pleasant gentle entrance to the sea. Walk to the beach no more than 5 minutes at a relaxed pace.
