We traveled with my wife from July 21 to July 28.2010. I'll start from the beginning: the tour was taken through the Biblio-Globus, the guys work harmoniously. The only thing is that the bus was waiting for 20 minutes at the Paphos airport, but it's nothing, it was time to explore the place. There was no Russian-speaking guide on the bus who would have met us, told us, counted ....This function was taken over by the driver, who is not bel-me in Russian, so they were immediately afraid to pass our Almura ...well, they thought there must be Russians they will get out if we ask anything)))) As a result, we heard "Almyra Hotel" from the carrier and went to the exit ...What surprised us sooooooooo that no one else got off the bus except the two of us ...The entrance to the hotel is very beautiful, fountains are pouring))) On the porch we were met by a polite man named Markus, who, as it turned out, is both a peddler, a security guard, and a doorman)))) At the reception, they were politely greeted, offered to sit down while the documents were being processed ....
The reception hall is very beautiful, white sofas, orange tables, flowers, some strange interior items ....there are very few people, which again alerted))) Then we were taken to the room, told everything, showed ...As soon as we entered into the room, I almost fell ....chic, just chic ...it feels like for VIPs: a huge and comfortable bed, lockers, a table, ottomans, everything is designed in black and white style ....by the way , the safe is free, which also pleased us))) A light breakfast was waiting for us on the table: apples, mineral water, nuts, dried tomatoes in some kind of sauce ...everything is very beautifully decorated and, most importantly, very tasty))) There was a bar with drinks in the room , paid, prices hoo, but we didn’t use it, we brought it with us and so enough ...The only Russian-speaking person was the cleaning lady, I don’t remember her name ...So about the room: everything is clean and tidy ...bath too pleased.
This is a transparent shower))) Various bathroom accessories are also included: dressing gowns, very cool, snow-white ....slippers, various oils, creams, bath gels ...everything is free. Yes, I really liked the backlight of the bed, especially at night it looks so fashionable)))) All things are nominal, with the inscription "ALMYRA". Then they called us and asked us to go down to the reception, our guide Kathy was waiting there, who brought us up to date: there were very few Russians in the hotel, then there were none at all, she advised us to have lunch and dinner at the port in taverns, this is not far from the hotel: firstly , it will get cheaper, and secondly, there is no attachment to the hotel. (we only had BB, but about food separately). To sum up: the room is simply superb, 5 out of 5 without a doubt, the service and service are on top.

The territory of the hotel is not so huge: the Anabella and Aleksandr The Great hotels are located nearby. The owner of all three hotels is one person, so you can freely enter, have breakfast, swim in the bass...
There are 2 basiks in Almur: one for children, there was mostly kim-mish with children, and we searched for the second basik for a very long time, and found it only on the second or third day, in the Spa area ....but what a bass, atas ))) There are no children there, and fewer people. Another bassik in the building near the second, but there was no one there at all, probably used for spa treatments. I really liked the white sofas with black tables on the roofs, it looks amazing. Everywhere is clean, well-groomed...near the hotel there is a small cafe with tables, right 3 meters from the sea...it's very romantic to sit there in the evening by candlelight...the view is awesome)))

Food: the choice is huge, I haven’t tried everything in 7 days ...there are freshly squeezed juices, ordinary juices, but not yuppies, tea, coffee ....even Smirnoff vodka was also champagne, which no one opened) )) At first they thought that the drinks were paid, it turned out not ...everything is free ...everything is very tasty

The beach ...probably the only negative ....there it is rocky and pebbly, in short, terrible ...

while you go in, you break all your legs ...an amateur, of course, but I didn’t like it at all ....a little to the right, there is a small beach, there are always people, there are fewer stones ....We went every day to Coral Beach, it’s 20 -30 minutes from the hotel by bus, No. 10.15...the fare is 1 euro, carefully there are controllers)))) for those who are thinking of throwing the bus))) The beach is sandy, the entry is long, what you need ....people there have always been a lot, especially they got "games with rackets", they hit people with a ball and at least henna. . I once overlaid a seven-story one, it seems they left us aside ...there is another beach, near the Alexander The Great hotel, about 5 minutes walk from Almura ....there is also sand))) but there are fewer people. Coral Big, as I understand it, is very widely known, apparently in Paphos this is the only normal beach)))

The sea was so warm, the first time I see this ....but very salty ....at first, when we arrived, it was a little dirty because of algae, then everything is ok
Lunches and dinners: we had lunch and dinner in taverns, of which there are a huge number on the way to the port ...t. i. e. 2-3 minutes from the hotel))) I really liked Vuenna, Chinize restaurant ...the prices are about the same everywhere, there are Russian waiters everywhere, sometimes the menu ...I was struck by the fact that the dishes are served in such portions as if they could eat together impossible ...For example, a Greek salad costs 7.5 euros, and the portion is such that the two of us ate it together and ate our fill ....local beer KEO and Carlsberg, 2.5-3 euros per bottle of 0.6 l ...non-standard bottle volume) )) I recommend trying the local Mosaic dish. After 12 at night, people from the port scatter somewhere, at first they didn’t understand where and why ...it turns out that all the youth go to the local "Bar Street", which is located nearby ...We went, visited, it was very fun there)))

Of the attractions near the hotel there is a dilapidated fortress, you can climb ...there is an archaeological museum ....
in general, if you go to Cyprus to see the sights, you need to take a car and go around the whole island ...excursions from the hotel are insanely expensive ...the only movement they have is on the left side, so not everyone else dares to drive ....

The rest was a success: yes, Paphos is a careless place where you can come off to the fullest, it is rather a place for lovers of romance, silence and children's recreation ...For fun, you need to go to Ai-Napa, there is all the action ...PERSONALLY EVERYTHING TO ME IS VERY I LIKED it, and if I was offered to return there, I would definitely go to the ALMYRA hotel.
