We rested in the winter (me, my husband and son 3.8 years old) from December 24 to January 7 and I will say right away - VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WEATHER AND THE HOTEL! -everything on time! The tour operator Biblioglobus is smart! In St. Petersburg they work just great!
I chose the hotel for a long time and didn’t count on Paphos at all - I didn’t want to drive from Larnaca airport for an hour and a half to the hotel (we drove 1.20), but everything turned out to be not so scary. All the way, my son and dad looked out the window and played, and I slept a righteous dream because I went to bed at 4 and got up at 6 in the morning : )
The hotel is on the outskirts, but directly opposite it is the Lidl supermarket, where the prices surprised and pleased us very much, (here I digress a little and write about the prices before I forget), besides, there were constant Christmas specials - jamon 1 kg. 200 g . -500 rubles for our money. Very tasty. We got hooked on jamon in Spain. There it costs from 10 euros per 1 kg.

The fish is cheaper than ours, I don’t know the name, but it’s very tasty, huge shrimp are also very cheap, cheaper than in St. Petersburg. and how they drank juice both in pasta and in shrimp and with fish) - the composition finished us off completely: 99.9% tomatoes and 0.1% salt. Nothing else! We drank it in boxes and the child too.
The olives are incomparably delicious - 700 g.
Wine and a half liters 1.9 euros-very tasty-almost got drunk : )
Olive oil costs 100 rubles for 1 liter of extra virgin.
There was also different knitwear. Pajamas with Cars 8 euros, T-shirts for 3 euros (mothers of Cars will understand me : ))
There are also Papantonio supercarquets in the city.
I advise you to take a map to the reception (for free) and ask them to mark with a cross their location of girls who speak Russian (better fair-haired, she marked everything and told us)
Everything can be easily reached on foot - 30 minutes walk to Papantonio, which is in the center and 40 minutes to Papantonio in the port. Walk 50 minutes to Carefour - up from Papantonio from the center.
We walked everywhere - according to the map - everything was elementary, but for the Cypriots it was a shock - they almost fainted when they heard that we were walking with a stroller (and we should shake our fat after a hearty breakfast).
Now about the hotel.
Everything, even the cheapest rooms, have 2 rooms.
They are called van birdrum and that bedroom. The difference is that there are not 2, but 3 rooms in that bedroom (but it’s cheaper to buy a ticket, for example, 2 adults in one room and 1 adult and a child in another than that birdum, I checked)
In the van bedroom there is a living room (with a large sofa, an armchair, 2 tables, 2 ottomans, a plasma TV, DVD, a kitchen, 2 baths, 2 toilets and 1 bedroom (there is a bed, TV, ironing board, iron, wardrobe .
In that bedroom everything is the same - living room, kitchen, 2 baths, 2 toilets, but not 1, but 2 bedrooms.
Rooms can have a shower and bath, or 2 baths or 2 showers.
We had 2 souls, which upset us very much, but on the other hand, a direct view from the window to the sea, which I really liked, was unreal beauty.

In my photos you will see photos of the rooms, the one that is cleaned - our van-berdum, those photos where the room is not cleaned - the one next to us - it is that bedroom and there are already 3 bathrooms, and we had 2 showers.
About excursions.
Everyone has their own criteria for rest - we went exactly to RELAX, because we believe that dragging a 3-year-old baby on all sorts of excursions is just a crime, but here everyone does what he wants to do.
Some may write, but our child sits normally on excursions, well, let him sit normally, but have you looked into his eyes? Is he happy? Does it give him as much pleasure as you? He is interested in 3-4-5-6.7-year-monasteries, wine tastings, churches, panoramic views of the mountains and the sea?
Therefore, we decided - life is still ahead - will have time to see the monasteries - and there is nothing to torment the child and, for show, to inspect everything!
Our child got up at 7-30 in the morning, we washed, dressed and went to breakfast at 8, and after that we immediately went outside and fed the cats - the joy of the child was higher than the roof, and then we went to the sea. There my husband was sitting on a swing , admiring the view, and the child was running around the hotel's playground - it's not so hot, but there is everything - a slide, a swing, a climbing frame, a rocking chair, a school desk and a house (see photo).
Then we went to the room, took a map, stroller and went for a walk.
At 13 o'clock we came, dined on a huge balcony, admiring the sea and put our son to sleep in the bedroom (for him, we were immediately brought an extra folding bed with an excellent mattress upon arrival).
For lunch, we ate shrimp, or fish with olives, tomato sauce (juice), drank wine, ate ice cream (we bought all this in Lidl or Papantonio)
from 14 to 16 or even until 17 o'clock the baby slept, and then we watched TV, played and at 19-30 went to dinner.
At 21 o'clock the baby was put to bed.
This is how our days went.
We enjoyed family happiness, peace, harmony, the child was happy and my husband and I too.
We were not interested in any excursions.

The tombs of the kings, which are located next to the hotel, were not of interest to us. We passed them when we went to the port along the sea, looked at the photos on the Internet - columns, tunnels - maybe someone enjoys climbing them, but personally we liked to sit more on a huge balcony, holding hands, drinking wine, dreaming and admiring the sea. . .
The rest was planned as relaxation and we got it.
Arrived tanned, rested.
The weather was great +18, +20, +28 in the sun. Sometimes there was a cold wind - we put on sweatshirts, never went in jackets, sunbathed on sunbeds and put the mattress from the sofa on the floor on the balcony.
For 2 weeks, 4 days it rained, it poured like an hour or 2 out of a bucket, and then in an hour all the puddles completely dried up!
The child walked in shorts and a T-shirt or without it : )
My husband sometimes wore a windproof vest. I was a blouse and a summer dress.
The food was excellent and whoever says that this is not so, I'm sorry, I don't understand you. Nowhere in Turkey's most expensive 5-star hotels, even in Amara and Rixos, there is EVERY DAY such a choice of meat: turkey, chicken, beef, pork, pork ribs, sometimes there was rabbit and lamb, every day salmon fish in cheese and cream sauce!
Fruits: kiwi, bananas, apples, oranges, tangerines, bananas, gray fruits, canned peaches and pears.
I really liked that for breakfast every day there was oatmeal milk porridge !!!
Also for breakfast were: fried bacon, delicious sausages, potatoes, potato pancakes, beans in tomato, scrambled eggs, eggs, pancakes, waffles, various puff pastries, nuts, prunes, yogurts (not in packs), various cheeses, various sausages and ham excellent quality (not soy), different tea bags, coffee from the machine.
Who will say-everything is boring-ridiculous!!!
Take porridge with raisins for breakfast today (like me), a handful of nuts and cottage cheese, and on the next day, take an omelet with sausages with pastries, the next day, eat potato pancakes with vegetable salad, and then beans with bacon. We barely crawled out of at the table.
My husband ate scrambled eggs, bacon, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese and waffles with chocolate. Sometimes he ate puff pastries with chocolate chips.

Every day my son ate an omelette with great pleasure, sometimes pancakes with strawberry syrup and milk, sometimes oatmeal, I poured raisins into it.
I ate porridge or beans, pancakes and bacon. Sometimes I spoiled myself with delicious pastries - I especially liked croissants.
Are you at home, what do you eat for breakfast?
I eat porridge every day at home and drink tea and that's it. I don't eat sandwiches.
Fast food - all sorts of hamburgers, pizza, french fries in our family does not eat anyone.
In general, the food is excellent.
We got to 2 gala dinners - December 24 and January 6. They were included in the price (we had breakfast-dinner). Everyone was sent invitation envelopes for dinner. For dinner, the dress code was observed not very clearly by some, but we always dressed for dinner -my husband is in trousers, I am in a dress, my son is also in trousers and a shirt. Although you can dress up on vacation, it's so nice! At the gala dinners everything was very beautiful, but since the food at the hotel is always good, I didn’t really notice differences, although there were interesting salads, delicious fried meat, more cakes. There was an entertainment program, live music, performances, magic tricks.
When you come to a restaurant, a girl asks for a room number, notes and the manager invites you to a table, but if there are free ones, you can sit wherever you want.
There are highchairs for children.
Downstairs, where the restaurant has a children's playroom, there are various toys, designers, cars and dolls. The light is off, you have to turn it on yourself and you can play. It is always open.
Internet is paid. 10 euros for 7 days. Give out a password and go!
Internet in the room via cable, and in the lobby, at the reception via WI-FI.
The spa was very good.
Large swimming pool. Water+28
1 jacuzzi 2 cold small pools - take a dip after the sauna.
Sauna, hammam - free of charge.

I advise you to take a massage. I really liked it, but I have a sore back and I did massage often and I know a lot about it. Of course, it all depends on the massage therapist and if you received a bad massage in the SPA, this does not mean that everyone does it badly, just you are out of luck. I was lucky. Excellent professional massage. I paid 40 euros for 40 minutes for a general massage - in St. Petersburg this is 2 times more expensive.
I regret that I didn’t do it right away because the SPA gives out terry bathrobes and slippers - all this can be taken to the room and then walk in the room in a bathrobe : ) A trifle, but it’s nice to put on a bathrobe after a shower and sit in it on the balcony.
Gym with good exercise equipment. I went to work out.
The staff at the reception almost all speaks Russian. No one hypocritically, forcedly smiles, but if you come up with any request, they immediately do it, for which they have great respect!
They give a voucher for towels for the pool and you get them at the SPA with it. They change it once every 2 days, like. We hung it on the balcony - it dried out overnight, I don’t see any problems with it.
Room cleaning is ok.
Who writes that it’s bad, HAVE A CONSCIENCE! The room is 60 meters !! ! On the first day we wanted to change the room because I wanted 2 baths, not 2 showers, and therefore I told the cleaning lady not to clean it, we’ll move anyway, why clean up But when they called us and offered to look at the room, I refused because we were all sleeping off the road — we flew in early in the morning, we didn’t sleep at night, but then we ate, we got exhausted in the sun and everyone fell asleep, in general, a large group of Germans arrived and sorted out the numbers- it's my own fault, but they promised to change the number on the next day.

In general, I mean that we trampled hard when we came from the party (got caught in the rain) and I decided to wash the floor myself, the cleaning lady went for towels and I took her mop, bucket and began to wash, until everything was washed, 40 minutes passed. So needless to say that dust comes across - I'm allergic, I wash the floors at home every day, I do it very quickly and carefully (the skill has developed), but there is a lot of furniture, corridors, a large balcony - it is constantly open - the wind blows and dust flies from under the sofa ( although the cleaning lady moves him, I saw). In general, we always smiled at each other. Tipping was not left every day, but then they gave it twice, she was very happy and thanked warmly.
I really liked the shampoo, shower gel, body milk and soap. Made in France. The cleaning lady put it all in all the bathrooms every day, then she collected a whole package and took it home to her daughter, now she washes them, enjoys them.
As always, upon arrival, I distributed chocolates to all the cleaning ladies in the hotel, at the reception I wanted to please people.
The hotel wins with its comfortable rooms.
The equipment of the kitchen is simply magnificent: a lot of different utensils, cutlery (regular forks, salad forks, tablespoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, 2 types of knives, there is also a corkscrew for wine, a garlic crusher, a whisk for whipping an omelet. A large refrigerator, all appliances Bosch. There is a toaster, blender, kettle, microwave, dishwasher.
We bought dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets in Lidl.
The most wonderful thing is there is a washing machine! It's free! Whoever has small children, they will understand me very well : ), but it is better to take washing powder from home (1 pack of 450 g is enough for you for 2 weeks) or you can buy it in Papantonio because in Lidl only huge packs of 5 kg - we don’t need so much - we still don’t get dirty like that : )
There is a clothes dryer on the balcony - it is large, it unfolds.
There are 2 air conditioners in the room. They work both for cold and for heating - in 15 minutes the room heated up, like in a bath. Sometimes they turned it on, but it was generally warm. at home. Winter after all (+20 degrees : ))
We arranged shopping for ourselves in Dobemhams. I bought myself various knitwear there and was just happy, and in Papantonio we bought cars for a child. Prices are 3-4 times cheaper than in St. Petersburg. There are none in Russia.
I also bought knitwear in Carefour. Children's suits for 6-10 euros.
Near Carefour there is a magnificent playground - there is something like a public garden - located to the left of the entrance to the store. Be sure to go there with your child!

The hotel is suitable for winter, in the off-season, in general, when you don’t need to swim because there are dangerous undercurrents, but in summer many people go to the nearby beach or walk. Everything is nearby.
My husband and some tourists swam. The water in December-January was +18, +19 degrees. He really liked it and my husband didn’t swim far, so he swam right next to the hotel.
in St. Petersburg, the cheapest tour operator in Cyprus, Biblioglobus, he has all regular flights, Rossiya Airlines. Everything is clear, without delay.
I advise everyone to go to Cyprus in winter and not be afraid of bad weather - this is a great alternative to Egypt, for example. It takes only 3 hours and 30 minutes to fly from St. you will swim in the indoor pool or in the sea (if you can). In winter it is very good to go on excursions - if you need them - there is no heat, there are not many people and discounts are given because it is not the season.
Holiday packages to Cyprus are also very cheap in winter, so you will have a great vacation!
We are very pleased with this trip.
